I am not really sure why you keep mentioning the new shares being listed tomorrow. Other than the fact it confirms the deal has been signed sealed and delivered for this investor, it means nothing else.

Indeed -

Limits halved to 2.5k maxc online at 160p -

Whatever the case there will probably be deeper pockets at play here -

My hunch is that this share has attracted a new audience, who are quietly accumulating to not make too much noise in the market

The money is flowing into this space. "That record has already been thoroughly smashed this year with the value of financial services AI deals in 2021 so far being worth $72.72bn, according to GlobalData's data."https://www.verdict.co.uk/h2o-ai-ai/AI startup H2O.ai has just shown that investment in AI is still happening with a $100m funding round at a $1.7bn valuation: and overall, money flowing into AI is still up.Any suggestion that AI investment in fintech could have dropped may come as a surprise to some. AI is everywhere in financial services these days. Banks use it to gain insights, cut costs, develop new features, fight financial fraud and to boost customer experiences with smooth onboarding and chatbots.

If I were a financial advisor, which I am not, I would advocate buying TNT before Friday. The market is unlikely to jump straight to 500p but it will get there soon imho

Money laundering and associated regulations are only going to get tighter. That also goes for tax avoidance/evasion, etc.

To some people this may seem like a pipe dream and pie in the sky valuations - but if you look at the players in the team, this looks to me like a serious proposition. From only my experience in African banking, I can tell you there are substantial profit opportunities here. Add in other developing countries and you can see why a billion $ valuation will not be out of reach

One of the problems - which should hopefully wash through and become clearer - is that this just looks too good to be true. However, it is happening

Agree Tomybob,
The warrants are conditional and will only kick in when market cap is above $250m. The new investor is paying 504p per share - no averaging is applicable at this stage

So at this stage you cannot simply say £2 average, because of the "caveats" -

Hence £5 "minimum" for placees -

tomboyb

Well -

In order to achieve £2 average the share price has to be 10x higher at least before the secondary the tertiary placings etc -

Hence over £5 has to be an absolute minimum for placees -

I totally agree KNIGEL, these are in effect seed investors and the next tranches will, if successful, pay a higher and higher price. It is confusing to an extent because this corporate activity is being carried out in the opposite way than the norm. Companies usually have an idea, seek seed finance, then additional investment and then look to go public. This is why in my mind this is an exceptional opportunity, although nothing is certain by any means.

Once the first tranche has been completed at 505p I think the gap between the share price will be much less. The market is still pricing in both a risk factor for the additional $7m and a risk factor for the project itself. As things progress the risk will lessen and the share price rise - simple risk/reward calculation.

Fine and of course each of us can work out what we think the share price is worth - my point is that this “average”; is going to change quite often.. a few times between now and 31 January with this tranche as we get news on further investors and then again a few times between Q2 and Q3 with the next tranche - but we can both agree we are talking about a far higher share price whatever average we work out today or at the end of the month etc.
