Yes sand but the buying is fairly chunky at times. One of the four was 135k at 29p. The point I was making previously is that either a seller is getting 29p for his holding or on the buying side someone is accumulating or there are quite a few unconnected buyers buying what I would say are quite sizeable trades. Any of these seem good from a holder's point of view. Whoever is buying is not put off by the large spread. Doubtless many small PI's will be.
I hope I have called the bottom as these had been on my radar for a while. I notice Pythian is off radar. He is the only PI who disappears when one of his holding rises. However it is early doors yet and TIN will certainly require patience.

errr.well that helps!

and its pretty irrelevant if the share price is only 50% of fair value!

MACH10 : You may well be right about it having bounced off the bottom - but there were only 4 transactions today. We certainly need a lot of positive PR and city interest to get TIN rolling.

I do hope Sat69 is right about the spread narrowing - it's a massive disincentive to buy at the moment IMHO - even though the quoted prices are well inside the declared spread.

Well 33p to buy now. Even Pythian made money today- 13p with that 1p tick up on the bid. I myself thought the Offer would stay at 32p so it's interesting that that has moved up as well. I might try a dummy sell tomorrow to see what the real share price of this is. I agree that the MM's seem to be awaiting direction on this, hence the large spread.

Thx SB. I can understand you not considering topping up to reduce your break-even price, with the spread as wide as a hussies legs!

I'm expecting a narrowing before the end of the week.

SAT69: I friend of mine held TCP in a Barclays Stockbrokers on line nominee account and his were converted into TIN a few days ago - but I don't know whether he'd formally accepted the offer or not. I will try to find out. As for me, yes I have been converted and am sitting on a small fraction of my original unwise investment.

Hi Sandb

I'm still waiting for my TCP shares to become TIN's. I didn't accept the offer, and I've now been told by my broker, Barclays, that I may lose the investment completely if the offer does not become 'compulsory'. I never thought this was possible and find it quite shocking!

Do/did you hold your TCP shares online (in a nominee a/c) and have they been converted to TIN yet?

Shame this fundamental value/turnaround situation has attracted a few losers...

But the first stirrings of a share price revival are there and my spreadsheet tells me this is a big medium term winner...

Good luck all! Enjoy!

Well done, pythian. You have sent mach10 into such a frenzy by exposing him that he's filtered me thinking I am you! Perhaps you should filter him first! From what I've seen on this thread it isn't much of a loss.

On second thoughts, filtering is such a sign of surrender that I wouldn't bother.

In the kingdom of the blind the one-eyed man is king. Mach10, before you and your thicko minions and fellow travellers wet yourselves in ecstasy at having discovered an inconsistency, consider this. In the autumn, when I heard of the truly surreal intention to buy TCP, I disposed of my shareholding apart from 13 shares. I still wanted to have a nominal holding so that I could receive the reports etc,. I was and am still interested to know, post mortem so to speak, why I made the mistake of buying them in the first place.

Presumably you lot continue to hold even after sustaining a significant loss (fancy that indeed!) and mach10's hysterical ramping is an indication of his desperation to hype them up again. You holders are in a very real sense LOSERS because no matter how you howl at everybody pointing out your dismal state, it ain't going to get any better.

Remember you read it here first and also there is no cure for being thick.

Pythian you have excelled yourself yet again. I really am in awe of you! Everytime you open your mouth your absurdity surpasses even what has gone before. You say you wouldn't buy it if it went down to 1p but you forget you already have! Unless of course you've lied and are not really a holder. Excellent! Pythian the only investor who can't read RNS's , nor BB's and now it seems his own portfolio(or lack of it!). LMFAO!
