You make my point, mach10: nothing but empty inarticulate rhetoric. That, allied with your obvious lack of numeracy, (which has been noted by others on this thread, including, in fact, pythian,) makes your postings worthless. Just because you have a bellowing voice does not make your absurd predictions on TIN any the more believable. And by the way, using such naff outdated acronyms as 'Rotflmfao' does not give you one jot of extra credibility.

I rather wish that pythian did reappear from the woodwork. Although I don't agree with his views he certainly beat you, mach10, into a sorry pulp.

There were 4 x 500k Sat unless one is to be deleted as a duplicate. More chunky trades however you look at it. No move on the price either which suggests there is a ready buyer even after 1.5 to 2 million sold. Let's hope the spread narrows or else we have a TIN special- a rise on the Offer price with a lag on the bid before it too rises. The Rns will be interesting for sure and I'll even go with your maths!

Morning all
I love sandbanks programming ideas, made me chuckle.
I read the RNS as well . It sounds encorgaing. I think TIN has had an image problem( It ain't got an image) and since these guys are in the showbiz area they should step it up a bit: so I send the PR dudes whose email addresses I found at the bottom of the RNS.
I will keep you posted if I get a response.

I am a shareholder in TIN.
I like the company and think it has a good future but, from an investment perspective, many shareholders I speak to, think that TIN has an image problem. We feel that the general story is good but that the PR has been poor in the past.
There have probably been good reasons for this,but at this stage of the game, for TIN to progress as an investment proposition it needs to raise it's profile and this is where you guys can help drive things along.
Obviously you need good stories to tell the marketplace like todays exciting news, which had an immediate impact o the share-price.
I feel the general tenor needs to be, No news is not good news combined with a culture of Underpromise and Overdeliver.
Why not share good news as it happens and help put this company in the front of more peoples minds?

sand - most of tv has "non-entertainment programming" now, doesn't entertain me anyway. Wonder if Marconi is turning in his grave? mind you tin share price as bad...up to now.....but there is always hope

Today's RNS about the poker programming seems reasonably good news to me. The growth areas in television are non-entertainment programming (which, arguably, the independents have been churning out for years) and audience-participatory programming - poker etc etc. The great thing about these shows is that they require no highly-paid presenters, production is very easy and they're all unremittingly dull.

I think TIN should also consider a "Global Warming" programme - which has camera trained on a thermometer live 24 hours a day (after all if the world is coming to an end we may as well at least watch it on tv) and a "Glaciers Live" programme in which we can sit at home and enjoy the thrill of watching a glacier move without the environmental impact of actually travelling to the Arctic (a la David Cameron)to see bits falling off.

Tomorrow, 31 March, will be an interesting day, as more TCP shareholders will become TIN shareholders. I expect there to be good activity, and certainly a narrowing of the share price Hopefully on the upside!

Could well be right Sand. The MMS's may have a lot of stock on their hands. There were very chunky sells at 35p remember. This share has drifted lower before (and today!) on low volume. Hopefully this is the floor but if you're a holder prepare for large drops and increases until we get news or interims. I don't think the MM's have a clue where this is going!

Well something's triggered my trailing stop losses on this one today. Must have been the Mineworkers' Union sell-off!

I see that former S4C international deal-maker Cenwyn Edwards has been appointed Director of Broadcasting at TIN but it surely can't be a reaction to that.

I wonder when we will get more insight on these as they should help the share price
From the last results "As a preferred supplier we will be asked to tender over the next 2 years for some significant business and are optimistic as to our chances of success.

Tinopolis believes that the greatest potential the company has of generating
revenue from Intellectual Property is through the development and exploitation
of a slate of animation created by DEEM, a joint venture with Dave Edwards.

Work is progressing well with the slate, with two of the properties at an
advanced stage of development. One of which is a pre-school children's property
where an option agreement has been signed with a major North American
distributor, promising the potential to create a world wide and lucrative brand"
I wonder how the latter is progressing? The former would certainly help the revenue stream so any news would be most welcome.

Yes...one 500k was deleted Mach, but 1.5 mill, still fairly chunky volume. Should have an increase in bid price today or tomorrow.

No rns released on the 3 x 500k trades....We may get one tomorrow.

If my maths is correct (maybe you could check this for me pls Mach?), 1% of the issued TIN equity equates to approx 900k shares. Therefore, the sale of 1.5 million (3 x 500k) is approx 1.67% of the issued equity. As an rns is only necessary when the sale (or purchase) exceeds 3%, it is quite conceivable that is simply a private individual (a wealthy one at that!) taking profits. With the sale out of the way, I'm confident we will see an increase in the share price either this Thur or Fri, 9/10 March.

Anybody catch the announcement I half-heard on radio about Hawkeye - something to do with tennis umpiring? I've been to the hawkeye site but nothing new on there
