17/7/2007 15:46 | Look at the latest RNS - TIR has sold 3m shares in Ascent. | glynnef
17/7/2007 15:12 | come on mm's AST is on the move, pull this TIGER up by the teeth accordingly!! | cyclingnut
17/7/2007 14:52 | SKYSHIP Welcome from Costa Rica. Through each % point either way. tiltonboy | tiltonboy
17/7/2007 12:13 | TIR was at 4p a year ago when Ascent was 12p and Franconia was around 30p ! Huge growth since then not reflected in TIR share price put this down to poor pr and pathetic management of the web site. Regular updates on their investments would have kept pi's attention. If I'd invested in AST or FRA or RDG I'd be well up on my position here which has been stagnant. However real value here has got to be at least 5p min. | curt3
17/7/2007 10:35 | not even double yet..... | johndee
17/7/2007 10:35 | as you can see trading is more profitable than waiting............i | johndee
17/7/2007 10:34 | I have been in 7 yrs now....paid 2.25 pence............. | johndee
17/7/2007 10:33 | lots of upside they made huge profits on AST....but TIR is a buy hold and wait company...not a place for quick returns really......not for traders..... | johndee
17/7/2007 10:30 | what did TIR buy the there AST stake at? is there any upside here or is it a long haulllllllllllllll.. | cyclingnut
17/7/2007 10:19 | i think average price got was 22 pence............ | johndee
17/7/2007 10:19 | someone sold 5m the other day................. | johndee
17/7/2007 10:11 | SKY, What makes you think TIR are selling AST shares apart from when they did back in April? | cyclingnut
17/7/2007 09:57 | Does anyone know/remember the regs regarding share stake disclosures? Particularly at what threshold will the Company need to declare a further AST reduction. I seem to recall every 2% threshold going down; versus every 1% threshold going up! ie, next disclosure would be when we drop through 8%. | skyship
17/7/2007 09:45 | Have I backed a dog here that will never move or what? Shall I put my money somewhere where it will move quicker..........hmm | cyclingnut
16/7/2007 16:59 | comfirmed buyback of srongbow shares | ntv
16/7/2007 16:58 | Yes, cycling, and I'm quite heavily in here myself. One thing tho, this can be a bit illiquid in comparison and the time it would suffer would be if AST takes a hit. Just something else to think about. Good luck to you and the Pa in Law whatever you do. | cleo1601
16/7/2007 16:20 | i WILL CHAT WITH HIM TONIGHT, he is really chilled about it, he is £4k up in 9 days, I would take the dough but he may well hold for greater glory. Seems less risky to pile in here as TIR have a decent portfolio over and above AST and a wad of cash!! | cyclingnut
16/7/2007 15:58 | are you still resolved to persuade him to sell these cycling? why not just set a stop loss at a reasonable distance if he wants to benefit from a greater potential upside? (No advice intended!) | cleo1601
16/7/2007 15:52 | I still have an interest in 50,000 shares in AST at 14.65p, I bought them for a family member. | cyclingnut
16/7/2007 14:56 | Yes cycling. AST's moves are much more exciting - up almost 100% in recent days... Still, Tiger must be a good way in which is why some of us are here instead of topping up on AST at present levels. All the best with your strategy. I prefer to be in both but each to his or her own | cleo1601
16/7/2007 13:17 | Bit nuts the way it moves in such tiny increments!! Not like it is a sub penny share or anything? | cyclingnut
16/7/2007 10:29 | lol!! I made a few quid on AST just on the speculative run up to the rns. I NEVER hold for an rns as they always seems to fail to ignite the share price as one hopes. TIR, I am hoping for a copper or two at least out of this......between 5-7p is fair value in my book, anything else is ridiculously undervalued and perhaps we should hit the banks for a loan and take them over.........that £4mill cash pile sounds nice!! | cyclingnut
16/7/2007 10:26 | will probably drop like a stone now | ntv
16/7/2007 10:26 | added a few more as ast hasn't moved back much | ntv |
