I can't hear mine at all when its on but then it is in the garage, the temperature has fallen here now, 12 degrees at the moment and feels cold but going to get worse

This afternoon I decided to strip the dryer motor and replace the bearings, well one of them which was bad and grease the other. I only have one bearing in my stock of bits the right size.

Anyway was an absolute pig to get the grooved pulley back on. It is heated up and shrunk on and I tried this and all went wrong as way too tight. Eventually sorted it all out. The end of the pulley is all distorted from pressing it on, but that is ok as belt runs on the inner larger grooves. Reason it would not go on is because the shaft and the pulley holes are very slightly oval and not round. Once I realised this life was easier and no longer tipped sideways.

Lunch out then a trip to the Range for artists paint and watercolour paper. Home just before the start of rain. Started a new book. David Mitchell s UNRULY about history of England's kings and queens. Quiet thought provoking with a twist of humour. Poached eggs and slow cooked bacon joint cooked in Pepsi.
