After flowering we end up with a seed pod all plants energy goes into seed pod. Dead heading removes seed pod and can encourage growth of more flowers and or root growth. So the wife said. Lol.

It sounds like you had a nice day out, I was taking down an old fence and awaiting new panels delivered today, did I say that the old lady next door died, Pigeons have gone a few doors down to someone else who feeds them, I do miss the old girl but not splatter and the crew

Same here with the rain. Took a nice drive out to Montrose, watched the birds in Montrose Basin from the railway station, went for a coffee and drove home. Got home just in time before the rain started.
Success as well, the annoying rattle from my steering column covers/shrouds is now gone after I dismantled this morning and used sticky fabric tape on the various mounting lugs. Quite the puzzle to work out how to remove the various sections of the cowl.

I have always loved Madras and have a Mogul grill with it, this is like a Tandoori grill but with a naga laced sauce, not too hot but really nice

I am actually having curry tonight as the hound is alright and my daughter is coming as planned, no hotter than Madras though as I find the Naga or Phal leaves you feeling hot the next day and I don't want that at the moment
