I just put small plates on to reinforce where they are cracked and its along the bottom so out of sight, it's up now anyway

That is a poor show by twix. Did they select and supply 'cos I would be right on the phone demanding they replace the cracked ones. You should be good at that in your line of wok.

I'm still doing he fence, panels are not great and I'm having to put metal pieces across some places where the wood is cracked, got them from somewhere rhymes with Twix

I knew you would end up fixing something, I'm off this week and will sort some bits out, silly stuff really like two of the lights don't have light shades, in fairness I've only been here 16 months lol

A farmer stopped by the local mechanics shop to have his truck fixed. They thought it might have something to do with the transmission, so they couldn't repair it while he waited. He told the mechanics that he didn't live far away and would just walk home.On the way home he stopped at the hardware store and bought a bucket and a gallon of paint. He then stopped by the feed store and picked up a couple of chickens and a goose. However, struggling outside the store he now had a problem ,how to carry his purchases home.While he was scratching his head he was approached by a little old lady who told him she was lost. She asked, "Can you tell me how to get to 1603 Mockingbird Lane? The farmer replied "Well, as a matter of fact, my farm is very close to that house. I would walk you there but I can't carry this lot."The old lady suggested "Why dont you do this? Put the can of paint in the bucket. Carry the bucket in one hand, put a chicken under each arm, and carry the goose in your other hand.""Why, thank you very much, that works just fine!" he said and proceeded to walk the old girl home.On the way, he said "Lets take my usual shortcut and go down this alley. Well be there in no time."The little old lady looked him over cautiously and then said, "I am a lonely widow without a husband to defend me ... How do I know that when we get in the alley you wont have your way with me?The farmer said with some irritation "Holy smokes, lady! I am carrying a bucket, a gallon of paint, two chickens, and a goose. How in the world could I do that?"The old lady replied, "Set the goose down, cover him with the bucket, put the paint can on top of the bucket, and I will hold the chickens."

2G enjoy family important. Lucky to have daughter and family just four miles away so last night wife and I invited to Witherspoons for appetitive before fish and chips takeaway. Son-in-law likes the same ale and wine as I so all good.

We don't get a free bus pass here as far as I know, the local 'Hoppa' stopped operating last year as the funding was cut, at least we can still do 30 mph in built up areas and no ULEZ ... Yet!

Mrs J is using her free bus pass for the first time to go shopping in the next town. Forget to get tomatoes yesterday and local shops are useless for cherry tomatoes.
