Evening gents...We had a delightful time in the mountains of southern Spain. Twelve days of weather around 27 degrees. It was a shock arriving back in Aberdeen on Friday evening, the pilot did an amazing job landing in awful weather.Went out today and bought 4 new kitchen chairs today, as our old ones were finished, over 20 years old, one had already collapsed.I'll leave some sangria on the bar.

Morning

Dry here in the sunny east midlands, my garage was slightly flooded yesterday from Fridays rain which I expected, it's not from the roof but seeps in from the corner, I shall have to have a look sometime or never probably lol

Good Morning.

Storm has past and we have lots of blue sky and frost.
We seem to have got off lightly here in Carnoustie.

I am not a lover of Russell Hobbs, not the same as they were decades ago. We bought the toaster as the best option and value at the time but its too powerful and tends to scorch the toast rather than toast it. Hoping it settles down with use and lose a bit of its ferocity. Reviews say they settle down after about 6 weeks of use.

Went shopping in Monifieth instead. Bit low in stock of many things. Left when there was lull in the storm but got caught in rain on the way home. Bottom road has a lot of flooding and standing water

Morning

I won't buy anything by Russell Hobbs as bought a kettle once that after two weeks emptied its self overnight through the level indicator, worse I had mislaid the receipt grrr

Good Morning.

I think our old Philips toaster has finally bit the dust. After repairing the element a few times and other bits like switches the electronics has let out the smoke. I could repair but I think it wants to rest now after years of service.

Time to use the new Russell Hobs one which does not make such nice toast but does at least make toast.

Yes I saw that on the news, I hope it doesn't affect you, we have had rain too but nothing to worry about, I can't imagine having to evacuate my home and feel for the people near the river there

Oh dear, they are expecting it to be bad in Brechin. Evacuating houses near the river despite having spend millions on flood defences a few years ago.

Good Morning.
We have a bit of a gusty wind and some light rain, so nothing too bad yet...

Might go shopping this morning instead of tomorrow if tomorrow it is going to be a lot more stormy.

It's raining a lot here but fortunetly I am uphill a bit so I see the rain going down the road, my conservatory does leak but strangely in different places each time, time to get the saucepans out

So I believe. We are just outside the red rain area so hopefully we will not be too bad. No doubt some of the streams will be over flowing though.

I shall wait for Mary, I have much more faith in her and she is a very good dentist.
Mind you she did once say a crowned tooth had to come out but between the LL and Diamond girl in Slovenia the tooth was saved.

Morning

Poor Mary, you could always have the other lady do it but she probably knows you complained her and might put something in the mouth rinse!

Haven't we all had that slap when trading the markets!!! You learn quickly to set your stop loss level and stick to them...or do we!!!

Anyway - Good Morning to you all.
Tomorrow's dental appointment is cancelled - The Good Mary has covid.
