Not certain but I'd be very surprised if that wasn't the case. It's pretty standard that a quorum of 2/3rds is required of those attending and voting at the first bond holder meeting is enough.

You'd have to check the various bond prospectus to be sure. If you have a copy I'll check them.

I doubt it's a problem though - clearly the process is continuing and so they must have enough big boys at the table.

Fair enough - I suspect you're right and ultimately it's unlikely the bondholders in the majority will take the risk of losing everything.

Amazed we are still at 8p here - the management have stated on two separate occasions that shareholders are going to be significantly diluted, they have posted a video stating the words "it will be traded down to almost nothing"

And yet, people still want to buy and close out their shorts - I guess this is a great example of a highly inefficient market

hi saj.what a mess this is turning out to be ey. dont be mistaken im looking in often daily and on lse. and keeping a close eye on news flow and procedings. im still in heavy here and watching v closely.. so much to say and think about this but most has already been said by others, i know a number of invrsters here have taken mega loses after seling and moving on. i would not trust the BOD tk put a sugar in my coffee, let alone run a bil£company.im sitting on mega losses but umho the game is not over, either way im taking a hit. hope your ok. Closed my shorts nice and early this morning ready to get back in shortly ... if you want to take the bits of profit out of this made on the trade this morning ECO have just stuck oil on their 1st drill at Jethro and moving to spud another shallow well in mid August... So what your do have left in here invested over at ECO you may have double what you have by October as opposed to half ... (half if you're lucky ?)

I genuinely hope you win on this, I didn't. More angry with the sheer and absolute incompetence of the CEO.. In America this guy would arguably be facing serious questions and possibly loss of freedom IMO..
