10/8/2019 17:28 | They need more than the market capital off the bond holders they could even take control as early as Monday... why would they want to prop up a company for shareholders. I don't mind being wrong but ask your self the question on Monday morning would you pay an extra 12p for every share the company own for no extra shares so they can carry on trading at a loss and negotiating a 3/4 billion pound rescue deal. Ha | g2theary

10/8/2019 09:38 | Probably not true :- "Anex Tour Group, a major Turkish tour operator that built a stake in British tourism giant Thomas Cook last week, making a name for itself in the world media, is now reported to have been at the table to acquire the entire company. Anex has begun talks with the London-based Thomas Cook's senior executives for the acquisition. While the talks are expected to be finalized within a month, Anex will be the second largest tourism company in the world if the acquisition takes place." | chinese investor
10/8/2019 09:32 | I suspect people will make money jumping in and out of this over the next few weeks. However, I stepped out on Friday - even money. The numbers don't lie, the company is in serious trouble and the global economy is slowing. Everything else is just noise, IMO. | knowbodyyouno

10/8/2019 09:06 | If the writing is not on the wall now ... They are asking for more money on top of the money they needed a couple of months back... I'm glad I stayed with my short's at 11p :) I lost on Deb because MA was so persistent but the debt there was nothing like this. My thinking also the airline always fail in recession. Made money the last time this happened with TC but I don't see this being rescued in fact 95% chance of going bust IMO... however if for some reason one of the big share holders want to throw good money at bad then the placing will be certainly under 10p because half the people holding the amount they are wouldn't be able to fund the RI :) | g2theary |
