R&T A very good question too. Imagine if trading news lands perhaps not this week !!
Maybe next week ! You all know when this moves it can move fast !

Mr. Magnificent, it does not make sense to me either !! What if it starts to climb ?
You are either in or out, that can be a big maybe, a costly mistake as well.
I hope you don't mind me putting my view forward. I will wait until September and look at the trading results very thoroughly. If I see any holes in them then I will move along. I will say well that is the reason on here. I look for opportunities.
My average is around £1.15 if I remember. The Co. is not going bankrupt. It had around over £5mil in cash, well it burns through over £2 million per year.So I am not worried about dilution either. My estimate has been £4/5 if broken up. If MM wants to buy it then he must pay over £1.70 per share. So please explain not to my, but to your good self.
I never fall in love with a share. Either they make me a profit or a lose. I usually sell the lose ones after considering the pros /cons. Only through experience have I learnt these lessons in the market. I am no Guru, but I play the cards my way.
ATB all and have a good night.

Well if the super shrewd Nick Candy thought it was worth £1.70 you know its worth more so just ignore the shorters whose interest bill is racking up......

He knows it's going to £1.55 again..then hopefully to £2.60 cos there's still interest in buying THG whilst it's below £5.17
Think he's seen the books.
I can feel an itch on my bell..i know this is easy peezy above £1.47 again.

Hope this helps

Well guys' there are all kinds of people in the market. Some are Jam tomorrow, others really should not be here, stress gets them, others who have not done their DD.
Then the 10% profit takes. Etc,etc.

I on the other hand am an investor, not long to wait for the results either in September.
That will give a very good indication of THG trading going forward.
I am expecting 20/25% growth.I was expecting a trading statement but it has not arrived. Maybe they really want to hit the shorts and saving all the ammo until September !
Who knows how MM is thinking. Revenge at times can be sweet at times.
If I was running the business, I would really like to hurt these shorts.
I did that to some competitors when I was in business. Many tried to steal my customers.
Everyone to their own as they say.

The chairman buying 1,150,000 shares @ 86.2721 suggest he has a certain amount of confidence, but then again what does he know compared to the shorts manipulating the market with high frequency bots!

fair enough - it does all feel a little dire, given how strong the market is

Chaps - I decided to close out my trade at just over 80p - bit reluctantly, but due to the lower volumes and inability to hold 80p on a positive day for the markets. The city seems to strongly dislike this company and it's chairman and there still seems to be a collective shorting effort - hopefully the company can eventually prove them wrong. GLA, may be back if it starts to trend upwards again.

malta don't you buy back in around that level and sell when it dips :)

Lol.
That 'dip' (the price I sold at) is more than double the current price. Had I not sold I would be 65% down at the moment, and needing the THG share price to double and then go up another 45% just to break even.
I don't know how anyone could face logging in to their share dealing account to see those kinds of red numbers everyday. Hideous.
So glad I took the small loss instead. And selling was exactly the right decision.

I could buy in today and I would have an average price lower than 99% of THG holders.

Guys, a lot don't believe in Charting ! It has done wonder for me over the years.
I use them regularly. the first Gap on a down trend, the share price was Gaped down from from around, on a down trend, £1 to 97/98Pg. This is the first one to get filled.
The second one is on an up trend around 121 P to 130P.

The Japanese traders have used charting for centuries to watch the price of Rice.
It is a complex subject. In the late 60's they descended on Europe and were making money hand over fist !! Only slowly the Westerners learnt why ! They were using their Candle Stick Charting for trading stocks and shares.
Gaps per general always get filled.
ATB.

PS.
OK Rr&T.
