Makes total sense, exactly why I am invested in THG. at current valuation it's completely detached from the business, hits the nail on the head! Very well written.

Private equity could swoop in tomorrow, offer 100% premium, and next day they could sell all the different parts for materially more than what they paid. I bet they can't believe there eyes.

One thought I had was is someone quietly building a huge stake at these levels with their algo bots turned on for months! Elon managed to buy 10% of Twitter without the share price increasing and anyone knowing until he declared!!

So many options, I see an exhilarating rise over the coming months, straight back up as shorts close. Unique share structure here, easily manipulated down, now for the swing straight back up.

Current market cap is £1.3 billion pahahahahahaha

I think multiple Private Equity groups would be fighting for it, at atleast several billion minimum!!!!! Dont just want to be seen as ramping, so lets explain...

IPO price £5, worth ~£5 Billion, which is very reasonable, as PE offered £4 Billion in 2018. Lets see what's happened since then...

Explanation:
Take out cash and acquisitions since IPO:

Cash - £530 million
Pericone MD - $60 million
Dermstore - $350 million
THG nutrition acq - £59.5 million
Brighter Foods - £43 million
Bentley Laboratories - $255m
Cult Beauty - £275 million
Total £1.42 billion

*And since then, business has grown immensely organically, paid down debt, THG Ingenuity clients have tripled, HUGE capital investments globally blahdy blahdy blah etc etc.

So if everything else stayed the same, and simply sold acquisitions back at the same price (may have grown in value, but lets forget that), aggregate the cash + acquisitions cash, and return it to shareholders, it would be worth £1.42 billion, MORE THAN current market cap, i.e. shareholders would get back more than current share price!!!!

But then we still have the WHOLE existing business at IPO remaining, so all of a sudden the £5 Billion IPO business is worth zero (yes ZERO), you say that cant be right, well thats how the market is valuing THG!!!

Hence whichever you look at it, it's simply mindboggling!! Hope the penny drops on the massive undervaluation, most pi's AND the market do not understand, or fail to grasp some basics, or purposefully choosing to ignore through manipulation (mafia in suits) ;)

No wonder private equity are circling!

With the figures posted in January, this company is either worth £1bn with an unhappy market as is today's valuation or £5-10bn with a happy market, as it was over a year ago (but that was with less impressive figures than current).
The figures do not justify the current market capital.
By the end of next week we will have a much better picture.

Shorters been given 2 days notice before update, unlike 3 weeks last year!! :)

How they going to play this. Most will be on holiday unaware, left their bots on, plenty of games will be played!

Good show by MM RNS lands late afternoon and shorts will have a real pickle to close out.Tuesday next week is the last day for then to close and we are all holding long and strong and accumulating this crazy shorted depressed S.PCan't wait for M.M to hit them with long awaited news that we are expecting.How smart of MM to throw out the RNS now.....Shorts will fry !!!
