From a chart perspective Orph doesn’t look like it will turn around in the short term.

Unlikely in my view - far too large and not sure T+20s exist anymore?
Just usual Off Book trades
55% of todays trading in THG was Off (the LSE Trading) Book .
Impossible to properly identify Off Book Trades - That's why buy/sell dats is always meaningly.
Todays markets(with multiple exchanges & broker dark pools) are far from transparent.

I think it is shares on margin, say you have 200k shares on T20 you have to sell them and buy again. So you buy 200k more on T20 to keep the price up and then sell 200k to get the best price for a sell and you're back to 200k on T20 having payed a small commission to the broker. 20 days later you do the same.

Both 225k bookings are Off Book Trades so they could be anything? - just booked at that time.
They could be muliple smaller trades, traded any day/time or on any exchange/broker dark pool etc etc?
Sadly they tell us nothing.

Very brazen - but I ain’t got a clue what is means ( suspicion loss leader to make share fall to buy cheaper) pure guessing but is blatant manipulation not coincidence

MM back is not to the wall - besides ego of not being a paper billionaire he is still a very very wealthy man.

He might have bitten himself on the bum though

Last April when shares £6.40 he said

Matthew Moulding, the company's founder and boss, has pledged to donate £100million worth of shares in the company and his entire annual salary to charity.

So if he hasn’t already donated the shares to donate £100 million that will now be equivalent to 5 times more shares (than was then) - that has now become an expensive pledge

Moulding is a fool, he doesn’t even know how to value THG, he has just taken advantage of every opportunity placed in front of him, with shareholders and banks money I hasten to add. If THG was his own company he would have shown a lot more business acumen. These supposed interested parties know this company could be sliced and diced, why should they not play the long game, he is the one with is back to the wall.

BOIX something is going on but I don't know what. Quite a few trades going through today were the algo software has bought and sold straight away.

For example:
At 12.45pm 6763 shares were bought for 121.81p

Then 9 minutes later at 12.54pm 6763 shares were sold for 121.59p

This has been going on randomly throughout the day. Could it be shorts buying and closing instantly so as not to get caught out? Or to put selling pressure on share price when coupled with algo bot multi sales?

One thing is for sure this stock is being manipulated at 9.30am the sell bots came in and volleyed the buying momentum into touch. This happens all the time too.

As soon as there is any upward momentum the sell bots kick in and process 20 plus sells in the same second totaling 20,000, enough to take the wind out of the sails of any advance.

Probably reading too much into it but BOIX your theory about hedge funds using multiple dark pool tricks to close a short does have legs and would explain a lot of what is going on.

Couple this with the disappearance of bdlm and others and it makes you think we have to be near the bottom.

Would love to see 'an interested party' RNS but can't see there being one until all the chess pieces are in place.

Me am quite happy to wait for the next move :)

Low volume day.
Looks like a hedge fund(?) using multiple exchanges/dark pools trying to gradually close a large short.
Sensible given we are awaiting a possible RNS?
If only shorting PIs were equally sensible.

There has to be substance or there would be a denial of interest. I can only think keeping hush and the share price lower negotiation will be easier

I am guessing the process can't be rushed so what will be, will be.Agree though that this is very frustrating. There must be PEs interested otherwise they would have denied and as you have said previously if any of these ask to see the books then there will be an RNS so this could happen anytime.

What’s going to stop this slide?
It’s relentless even when overall markets inc Nasdaq are up.
RNS not coming unless a PE concern shows real interest and asks to see the books.
Looks like takeover gossip was somewhat premature?
Sorry but just frustrating as I am too long!

I guess envy that they are stuck in their pathetic lives and resentment that others have made a great success of theirs.

Say 3.3 x 2022 revs ,which is what they just paid for Bentley.

That's 600p a share

Ingenuity has zero value attached,whereas the softbank deal values it at over $6 billion


So we are way over 1000p a share

Just sit and wait this out.The point being there are multiples to be made here imho.


The fact that a bunch of overweight, balding, middle aged men with multiple comorbidities ,taking handfuls of prescription drugs so they don't drop down dead and stuck in toxic marriages are shorting it, who cares?

They clearly have never bought from any of thg's websites and don't have any clue what ecommerce is.

Just go onto Youtube and see where most young entrepreneurs are making their money and huge amounts of it.It's all ecommerce and branding.
