20/1/2022 14:23 | bold - when you say better value elsewhere, companies hitting 52w highs, is that where you want to invest right now ? The upside seems far greater in a quality, fast growing company who's share price has been battered by the market. Mr Market occasionally throws up anomalies. I backing my conviction, these will double over the next 12 months. | ![]() hatfullofsky

20/1/2022 12:53 | Bob - Ingenuity Commerce 2022 revenue guidance of GBP108.0m - GBP112.0m (from £45m) However total revenue from THG Ingenuity was GBP 194.3 (this includes infrastructure) we don't have guidance on this for FY22 So when valuing Ingenuity you need to base it on the whole. THG Ingenuity : Ingenuity Commerce provides end-to -end technology services charged to third party clients for digital commerce solutions. Ingenuity Infrastructure underpins the Ingenuity Commerce offering, and is charged to third parties as a single stand-alone service. Services include hosting, content creation through THG Studios, translation services and beauty product development and manufacturing. | ![]() hatfullofsky

20/1/2022 11:32 | bldm - sees at least 400% growth in THG in a few years!!! But can you value Ingenuity? Given Ingenuity 2022 targets are £110m revenue with 60% EBITDA as stated by management that’s £60-65m profit? IMHO they are going to smash those targets but even if they miss them by 5% that is still a nice profit? Primark needs Ingenuity or similar if they had an online presence through the pandemic they wouldn't be making 400 job redundancies today. Darktrace, tech company, has a market cap of £2.9 billion on £280 million revenues and is making negative EBITDA | ![]() billionarebob
20/1/2022 11:27 | Be gready when others are fearful" is a decent attempt to beat the market, but it does not apply here. It's not fear - it's skepticism and better opportunities to plunge your money. It's not like the entire market went down. While THG has been tumbling down the stairs, others have been hitting new 52 week highs. Look at the prices of most companies in 2020-March. Sudden drop, then either sideways or start to recover. This share behaviour, reminds me of metro Bank which just kept dropping...from 8000 to 800...and then to 50 eventually. What was the reason? Accounting "error". I've got several bank accounts with major banks and by far metro is the best. Yet, they are loss making and have a silly market cap for a high street bank. Trust is the issue and MM has lost it. He needs to go same as Vernon departed metro after struggling to stay. What a company is worth and what the mkt price is are 2 different things. If THG is really worth £6/ share then this will surface in a few years in which case you'll have a nice return of 400% at least. However, at the moment, the market says better companies are out there. | ![]() bldm

20/1/2022 11:17 | hatfullofsky I think THG Ingenuity has been the golden nugget all along. Look at what is happening on the High St it is dying. 20/1/2022 10:34 | Could the share price be down, amongst other things, due to fears of a dilution? They've spent £1 billion in the past 12 months leaving them with ~ £500 mill cash + 150 mill loan facility. If they need to raise cash in the next 12-18 months, that's potentially an equity dilution at prices a quarter of their IPO. | ![]() bldm
