13/1/2022 09:10 | Because the price drop is not due to market skeptical about them making the numbers. The market is skeptical about ingenuity which is what gives THG £6 price target. Market is also uncertain about the structure of THG and the governance arrangement they've got. Without ingenuity, this is a £1 stock. if you believe in ingenuity, go ahead, buy £100,000 outright and it might make you a bit richer in a few years. Personally, I'm skeptical because I've tried to use THG ingenuity websites to do my shopping and I get better service AND significantly cheaper prices from Amazon. Go figure -ni thought ingenuity is D2C which cuts a middleman (Amazon) so should be cheaper. | ![]() bldm
13/1/2022 09:02 | IF trading update is in line with expectation, i cant see any reason why the price is not going up to £4 in short space of time. Fingers crossed for next week. | ![]() deanmatlazin
13/1/2022 08:47 | Hah, GS added 0.03%. that's what we call a non-event. Just a week ago they reduced by 0.4% - sold over 10 times more than bought. This is why retail investors lose money... Next you'll tell me to buy cause sanks has seen the books and his price target is 7.17. Smells of desperation but I get it - things with THG are desparate. | ![]() bldm

13/1/2022 07:45 | If THG trading result in line with expectation - it will go up double. If it is ahead of expectation it will treble. Good luck all. GS has increased its holding. Give some confidence to investors hopefully. | ![]() deanmatlazin

12/1/2022 21:22 | Heresjohnny, ok I see - you're clueless. Anyway, in my experience, CEOs blaming shorts for the stock falling boils down to several reasons. 1) they are a fraud. 2) internally the company is going badly. 3) they are incompetent. Considering, MM is competent, this leaves the other 2. I sincerely hope that he doesn't surprise us with some horrible results. I honestly don't get why he cares the share price is down. They've got a ton of cash. As long as he can get it up within a few years who cares. Although, maybe he's been jucing and there is no hope of it ever going up again ;) | ![]() bldm
12/1/2022 17:24 | Yes and we saw what happened at darktrace a few days ago as soon as results appeared and bang up +20% on the day and up today even after being heavily shorted. I expect solid update here and let shorts close up to and after results. They’re running out and we saw quebe reduce yesterday so keep the faith, ignore the noise and value will be out:-) | ![]() pre

12/1/2022 16:49 | @bldm The stock was heavily traded on the way down. The shorting started being taken out just before the IPO lockup date before blackrock started selling. It was always obvious they would reduce their position. Whale investors from pre-IPO almost always do. I don't believe the shorts are just shorting it, I think they have been trading it. Look at weekly charts. Each drop has been followed by significant upswings. So its been shorted on the way down for profit, then traded at the bottoms for upswing profits. Shorts increased over xmas because the stock had just had a christmas rally of over 30% growth. Clearly there would be this pull back. It was an easy short to make at £2.30 - £2.36. I believe most of the un-disclosed short positions are taken out above £2.30. But the "shorts" very much likely have also built a good long position now to hedge for the upswing to come next week. 12/1/2022 15:45 | Heresjohnny thanks, correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the lock up expired well before the selloff? Company IPOed in sept 2020, I have a recollection lockup expired H1 2021 and selloff started mid/end of sept 2021. If anything, the selloff coincided more with a broader stock selloff which began in September 2021. However, the problem with THG was that it was dropping 35% a day on multiple days...so even though it coincided with a market selloff, it definitely had a different driver which was more akin to panic. | ![]() bldm
12/1/2022 15:38 | @bldm From all my research, which is extensive, I believe that THG is a great company and it is very much undervalued. It seems a number of brokers continue to also believe this. I also believe that THG has suffered a significant short attack over the last few months due to the Investor IPO lockup period ending, and shorts predicting correctly that whale investors would start selling their stocks which they held from pre-IPO after that lockup date ended. People should look up the IPO lockup date for THG from the IPO prospectus to learn about that. I believe THG is a great company and a great long term hold investment. Good luck. | ![]() heresjohnny1
