10/1/2022 12:33 | Like buffett said, a short is a guaranteed buyer - I never understand when CEOs complain about shorters if the business is solid. | ![]() bldm
10/1/2022 11:54 | I own THG shares but I am yet to be convinced they are a long term hold. I bought just before the new year because they seemed to have some upward momentum but, as we have seen, they are very weak. So like bldm I see this is a very risky holding. In my case I won't hesitate to dump these shares if they continue to fall this week. | ![]() maltajellied

10/1/2022 11:43 | Nope...dont believe you. You have a negative agenda here, and you dont seem to do anything other than express negative sentiments (and even hint at fraud) - do you not have a job/ life to do...sheep in wolves clothing | ![]() srs8
10/1/2022 11:40 | We're all small investors here. Just sharing my mistakes and my thoughts on the company. It is not mutually exclusive to be long and harbour views that this is a very risky long. If you're going to jump onboard, understand the risks and there are lots of them. Needless to say, like I said last week when the price tanked again, I am still keeping my extra powder dry. Would be a buyer if I see a sustained upwards momentum. | ![]() bldm
10/1/2022 11:32 | why are you invested then wolf- if you think the company has so many uncertainties | ![]() srs8
10/1/2022 11:29 | Merrick - good points. Marekq - you're reiterating my point - on top of the marco and micro economic uncertainty associated with a business, you have no clear understanding of what THG would be in a few years. It could be a set of separate companies, a private company, just ingenuity or have disappeared. You have rising interest rates and a shift from growth to value. MM instead of addressing all of this, decided the real culprit is the 1% short interest in the stock. Just doesn't make sense to me - he could be emotional and/or confused or he could be trying to cover something. When fraudsters feel they are near being exposed, they sometimes run without anyone chasing them. If this is really undervalued, there would be a pull to their true value and I expect within 12-18 months for them to be at their true-er value. Look at companies that crashed during the pandemic. | ![]() bldm
10/1/2022 11:19 | (a) it will be split into separate public companies; In which case you will own shares in the new seperate public companies (b) taken private; At a price north of £2.50 which will return 30%+ and may be considered a speculative investment(c) some divisions sold of;The point of this is to realise the real market of the division (d) you don't know if the valuable part of the business is actually valuable. You have described it as the valuable part of the business and then questioned whether it's valuable !!!!! At current Market Cap Ingenuity is valued at Zero. Not investable.Your taking through your hole. | marekq
10/1/2022 11:16 | If I were FCA I would investigate the shorting of this share but I would also investigate the share award and whether or not share value pumped and assisted as an example with algorithms to achieve award - (it’s a fair question considering £1 billion was at stake) KKR and Balderton Capital Agree pre ipo with Moulding he get shares award if share value increases and only sustained for 15 days, MM gets his award of £1 billion and People who agree award sell their shares - the beginning of the downfall. MM holding goes from 17% to 25.1% (50% enhancement and other shareholders diluted) I accept value of buying share now a different proposition but some people have been seriously shafted with these shares. Do not under estimate market sentiment but I’m not to sure how much Matthew Moulding shouting fowl play will be listened to. Maybe he has a strategy if you can’t convince confuse. Maybe the hedge funds have just looked at the facts and said over valued. Look at PE? The question is what is fair value or value shorters have in mind but for there to be a trend shift trade volume must increase No individual can derail or pump share value - banks & hedge funds can and do so. If FCA and LSE want to preserve integrity of uk markets then they should look at this travesty. Numis actions appalling surely buying selling advice circulars have to go through compliance officer. On the other side of the coin how many shareholders feel moulding is entitled to and should retain his 50% increase in shares based on shareholder value | ![]() merrick1965
10/1/2022 11:11 | The stock at present is not investable. You have a stock where you don't know if (a) it will be split into separate public companies; (b) taken private; (c) some divisions sold of; (d) you don't know if the valuable part of the business is actually valuable. Not investable. | ![]() bldm
10/1/2022 10:56 | Srs8 and you are a prime example why retail investors lose money. Why would I not tell you I'm short if I am? It would make my arguments so much stronger - put my money where my mouth is. When you encounter something that doesn't fit your point of view, you blab out some irrelevant attack. Shall I just post positive and hopeful stuff about a company that has lost most of us money and a CEO who just won't shut up even though his comments have been disastrous? | ![]() bldm

10/1/2022 10:39 | BLDM you are a wolf in sheeps clothing. you so obviously a deramper troll, but pretend to be invested. you sir are everything that is wrong with the stock market and these virtual boards...you should be ashamed | ![]() srs8
10/1/2022 10:37 | ASOS which is apparently victims of a new short attack is now blue (and only dropped -7% last week) THG dropped -15% last week an _3% today.... shorts not helping themselves when FCA comes knocking | ![]() srs8
10/1/2022 10:31 | Still support for THG as yet again there are more buys than sells. Expect more large UT trades at the close of play today. A lot of stock is changing hands and we should expect an RNS shortly to find out exactly where it is going. | ![]() billionarebob
10/1/2022 10:24 | Soleman and you're absolutely certain that everyone is wrong and MM is rightous what he says is true? Because it could be that he's the manipulator and it's worked on you a treat. Anyway, time will tell. He definitely is too emotional. It's not easy when £1.8 billion get wiped out during a couple of minutes of you speaking. Talk about a "dislike button"! Considering he's very active on the 'gram and there isn't a dislike button there, it must have really affected him psychologically. | ![]() bldm
10/1/2022 09:58 | Your belief in that statement is based on the share price move, what mm is suggesting is the market was manipulated to make pi believe this to be true. Clearly by your comments and the price adjustment it worked a treat. | ![]() soleman1
10/1/2022 09:54 | Sensei i never said there was factual proof of fraud. It there was, THG price would be 0. I am just contrasting MM crying "fraud and manipulation" with his own actions. He wiped off £1.8 billion of the value of THG singlehandedly with his presentation and comments. He refuses to accept this and wants to find someone else to blame. Contrast this to his side hustle/deals. | ![]() bldm

10/1/2022 09:12 | I guess this is what the city does when you expose their practices, the pockets are not limitless and shorts have to be repurchased as buyers. | ![]() soleman1 |
