Are you ramper in chief for SCWS?

I seen that role advertised a year ago and was thinking of applying.

What I can substantiate, is that nutrition revenue has fallen off a cliff year on year if my data is correct and beauty has done well but is not doing as well so far in Jan. My concern is slightly Q4 but more Q1 which was good last year. Two bad updates in a row isn’t going to be good for us.

Guys I know it’s frustrating but it’s not like I didn’t try to help you by telling on a few occasions now. Next time. Listen more and act faster. The show will go on and there will be more opportunities

Bonuses should be on meritocracy. Good that some ain’t getting. Good people will always get theirs. Saves on outgoings= more ebitda

Here is the BUY update from SCSW that I received yesterday, I think they have about 20/25k paying subscribers.

Nothing new but a good read:

Boix, Toansy obviously has his motives for making things up and I am not that daft to believe he is here at the weekend spreading FUD just so folk can have a balanced debate. Toansy is a titty type of guy there is no way he is here listening to the music.

Toasty has lost the plot at the moment banging on about whey prices.
Arguably there are enough facts available to suggest caution by why he’s decided to make things up to fit his argument is odd.
I suspect he must be very short now?
Understand he sold a huge quantity on the 2nd to hedge his long then sold his long but maybe he never closed his short.
It’s unfortunate he got an early tip off about the ‘rumours’; circulating concerning the Nutrition division bonus cancellation?
As volumes are so light around Christmas/New Year anyone selling volume can have a disproportionate impact.
Has anyone had the bonus rumour actually confirmed from anyone working there?

I received my copy of The Small Company Share Watch, in the mail today.

They have an update on THG and have registered a BUY signal.

I am sure their members will be digesting the update with interest over the weekend

Toansy sounds fair, I agree that the current SOTP valuation is a very strong reason to invest.
However, I also think the natural staff reduction of 2000, guidance of FCF Neutral 23, FCF Positive 24, reduced capex, reduced debt, and increasing profits/margins are all good markers that make THG investable, especially at these levels.

Western Europe Sweet Whey Powder is not at its highest price for 7 years.

Last time Matt had bad news last autumn and he pulled the trading update forward a week.
So no clues there although I agree with Disco he won’t be delaying for bad news.
Maybe waiting for something else to fall into place or it happens on Tuesday and posts it on website on Monday?

Standard practice is to delay bad news, hoping for green shoots. Very common to see 14 weeks update if the last 2 after a quarter is good.

Lot of wet behind the ears investors here.
