14/1/2024 11:59 | If scws manages to get a little pump going tomorrow I would short this again at 74. So Bob if you can buddy on LSE go on the full pump. Thanks Bob | ![]() havinthelasttoast
14/1/2024 11:38 | Bob, Are you ramper in chief for SCWS? I seen that role advertised a year ago and was thinking of applying. What I can substantiate, is that nutrition revenue has fallen off a cliff year on year if my data is correct and beauty has done well but is not doing as well so far in Jan. My concern is slightly Q4 but more Q1 which was good last year. Two bad updates in a row isn’t going to be good for us. Guys I know it’s frustrating but it’s not like I didn’t try to help you by telling on a few occasions now. Next time. Listen more and act faster. The show will go on and there will be more opportunities Cheers | ![]() havinthelasttoast

14/1/2024 10:59 | Here is the BUY update from SCSW that I received yesterday, I think they have about 20/25k paying subscribers. Nothing new but a good read: THG has bought the brand and inventory of Biossance, a prestige skincare brand, for Us$20m from Us biotech Amyris, which had entered Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Biossance is stocked in >1600 stores globally including Sephora, Harrods, Space NK and Selfridges and has generated sales of US$300m since 2015. It generated Us$2m in revenue across THG's Lookfantastic retail site last year and although a small deal, it is a strong fit, building on THG's own beauty portfolio, which includes Perricone MD and ESPA. Just as THG's sales trend is consistently improving (Q1 -14%, Q2 -11%, Q3 -2%, September exit +5%), CEO Matthew Moulding has also employed a 'Pac-Man defence' against Kelso Group (KLS0; 3.35p), which had been pushing for a THG break-up, by buying a 3.2% stake in the activist. 14/1/2024 10:51 | Boix, Toansy obviously has his motives for making things up and I am not that daft to believe he is here at the weekend spreading FUD just so folk can have a balanced debate. Toansy is a titty type of guy there is no way he is here listening to the music. Am still convinced Frankie has hacked his account as this new bromance is such a frigging u turn, its unbelievable. My daughter went to college with a girl who works for MyProtein so I will ask her to make contact and ask the question about bonuses, agree it would be good to try and get some inside intel :) | ![]() billionarebob
14/1/2024 09:06 | Franky You sold at 40p, it’s 67p (for now). You threatened and never turned up. You said your family is loaded yet couldn’t prove you own the own clothes off you’re back. I have claimed none of these pathetic comments. Because I don’t need to lol. You must be the least self aware person posting on any chat board. | ![]() disco1984
14/1/2024 02:28 | Oh dear that doesn’t seem pleasant. If any shorts are there it’s time to close according to dyslexic Denis. | ![]() ste2000
14/1/2024 01:14 | SCSW has had THG as a buy and holding for a few months now, they have already seen value and invested themselves. I'm telling ya shorts, u are gonna feel pain like granny's walking stick hitting ya in the nuts. ? | dyslexicsvoices

14/1/2024 00:43 | Toasty has lost the plot at the moment banging on about whey prices. Arguably there are enough facts available to suggest caution by why he’s decided to make things up to fit his argument is odd. I suspect he must be very short now? Understand he sold a huge quantity on the 2nd to hedge his long then sold his long but maybe he never closed his short. It’s unfortunate he got an early tip off about the ‘rumours’ As volumes are so light around Christmas/New Year anyone selling volume can have a disproportionate impact. Has anyone had the bonus rumour actually confirmed from anyone working there? | ![]() boix
13/1/2024 23:47 | I received my copy of The Small Company Share Watch, in the mail today. They have an update on THG and have registered a BUY signal. I am sure their members will be digesting the update with interest over the weekend | ![]() billionarebob
13/1/2024 23:41 | 13 Jan '24 - 13:33 - 62620 of 62648 Tell you what I’ll stop posting if you agree that there is no argument to invest except sotp and whey is at its highest price for 7 years except 2022 year and is now higher than last year Is that fair ? ------- Toansy sounds fair, I agree that the current SOTP valuation is a very strong reason to invest. However, I also think the natural staff reduction of 2000, guidance of FCF Neutral 23, FCF Positive 24, reduced capex, reduced debt, and increasing profits/margins are all good markers that make THG investable, especially at these levels. Western Europe Sweet Whey Powder is not at its highest price for 7 years. Higher prices registered in: May 2017 - 1087 June 2017 -1094 March 2021 - 1002 April 2021 - 1054 May 2021 - 1087 June 2021 - 1101 July 2021 - 1037 August 2021 - 1017 Sept 2021 - 1025 Oct 2021 - 1058 Nov 2021 - 1110 Dec 2021 - 1168 The current price is the same price as it was in November 2016, which was 904 And the current price for January 2024 is 904 just 7 points higher than January 2023 :) | ![]() billionarebob

13/1/2024 19:28 | Last time Matt had bad news last autumn and he pulled the trading update forward a week. So no clues there although I agree with Disco he won’t be delaying for bad news. Maybe waiting for something else to fall into place or it happens on Tuesday and posts it on website on Monday? | ![]() boix

13/1/2024 19:24 | But you lot are saying it’s 16th for sure. Sharecast and no RNs and investor relations has no date on their site suggests a delay no ? | ![]() ste2000
13/1/2024 19:21 | Ok Toast, However, it isn’t delayed. Nobody knows | ![]() disco1984
13/1/2024 19:15 | Standard practice is to delay bad news, hoping for green shoots. Very common to see 14 weeks update if the last 2 after a quarter is good. Lot of wet behind the ears investors here. | ![]() ste2000 |
