14/1/2024 15:54 | You obviously have much respect for Paddy who's wealthy and likes to promote himself except he posts here on a weekend so how does that work Disco? ...Honestly, your arguments always seem to be flawed in dome way or just redundant as if you struggle to have any deeper understanding in anything but maybe education wasn't for you then hey! | ![]() one_frankel
14/1/2024 15:52 | It is common for folk to think that the wealthy are different than them. They also believe that if they had the money their lives would be so much different than now. As we see with lottery winners they don’t keep it long. This is simply a lie you tell yourself that why would a millionaire be here. I know of three other multi millionaires on the boards that regular chat. It’s a very weak argument that disco and one that the average Joe tells themselves. Anyway I am here because I love you. You remember my post at the start of Jan that was given with love? I was lambasted by imperalist which I expect and all the LTHs. That was 81p and I got out at 86p. Enough said. I appreciate it moved fast and people felt like they didn’t have the time to get out. So let’s just not argue anymore and wait for results. If bob doesn’t ramp I’ll not tell the truth here. | ![]() havinthelasttoast
14/1/2024 15:49 | What you think wealthy people don't do the normal things in life like resting on a Sunday? ...You're deluded my dear friend but do you also reside in a land, far far away from reality just like Bobby? | ![]() one_frankel
14/1/2024 15:48 | If I was a multi millionaire, last place I would be would be here. | ![]() disco1984
14/1/2024 15:47 | Wealthy, You are on here posting on a Sunday (free chat board). Get a grip And if you are wealthy, what a waste of breath you must really be to be getting into arguments with people with no wealth lol. Narcissistic 🤡 | ![]() disco1984
14/1/2024 15:42 | I don't need to Disco because what difference does it make to others tell me? ...But I wonder if you've ever come across anyone wealthy in your rather sad life but have you ever seen how they carry themselves?...And Paddy really shouldn't have disclosed his personal financials to others in the past here because its just unnecessary so I really hope he's learnt from it! | ![]() one_frankel
14/1/2024 15:36 | A sensible investor would chat about their investment on a chat board. Not go on about it with no investment. 🤷a | ![]() disco1984
14/1/2024 15:27 | Paddy's not saying anything any sensible investor wouldnt already be questioning but not one of you can respond with a counter argument so ask yourselves why is that...Some underlying agenda, too deep with your investment into this tripe or something else! ...And I honestly don't understand which school of bloody thought you people went too because this is just bloody ridiculous and regardless of your investment into anything you need to question everything and be objective to the opinions of others eventhough you may not always agree with them otherwise you've lost even before you've started, I kid you not! ...So don't be a fo_ol because this really ain't a game and the shark invested market will eat you alive if you're not overly careful! | ![]() one_frankel
14/1/2024 15:22 | They very well may get the outcome they want because there is the unknowns. However just as a business case this investment doesn’t stand up currently. Growth company with no growth. 85 percent repeat rate means they have capped out. What you want to see with any business is less than 70 percent repeat rate so they have room to grow. Barely cash flow positive and no actual profit just adjusted ebitda. Ultra low margins in beauty. Whey going up again Nuturion slowing. The worst ceo in the history of the LSE. Possibly. Debt coming up for renewal in the next two years. If this was 40p I’d prob have a stab. | ![]() havinthelasttoast
14/1/2024 15:14 | I just love how anyone with any opposing views to the 'Fateful' especially someone like Paddy that was so keen on reaping the rewards of his significant investment here but has changed his view now and is being lambasted because the rampers are so du_mb to realise why that is! ...But take a moment and try and understand why he's changed his perspective now because I assure you he will be far more 'Learned' with all his investing in future like someone else I know and you mu_g punters will just continue as you always have and that my dear friends is what differentiates the wheat from the chaff with ones investing unfortunately! | ![]() one_frankel
14/1/2024 15:13 | THG update from SCSW has it as a BUY in the UPDATES section, in this weekend's SCSW edition. f | ![]() fillipe
14/1/2024 14:17 | Just asked Chat GPT what a mug investor was. Mug Investor (noun): 1. An individual engaged in financial endeavors who, despite possessing pertinent information detrimental to their investments, neglects to take appropriate actions, thereby experiencing unfavorable outcomes. This term underscores the unfortunate tendency of some investors to overlook critical data, resulting in suboptimal financial decisions. | ![]() havinthelasttoast
14/1/2024 14:10 | Bob If you get any news concerning bonuses etc please let me know. Best | ![]() boix
14/1/2024 13:39 | A balanced view considering your sizeable holding. Best of luck! | ![]() havinthelasttoast
14/1/2024 13:08 | How I see it is we are all here to make money. Those who do, bloody well done. Can learn a lot of others and differing view points. With the exception of the nut jobs like frank. Best to avoid those weirdos. | ![]() srs8
14/1/2024 13:00 | Agree that bumper profits are from the very low whey. We will see this in h2 23 and h1 24 when prices were record low. H2 24 will be tougher comps. Currency could help as usd sterling has hindered h2 23. More retail listings and volumes would also help as higher margin due to lower marketing costs. Licensing deals needed too as pure ebitda ie the frozen food, cheese and cereals/ yoghurts to come. On h2, I think this is why they may have slowed down sales. Average promo weight is down in h2 vs h1 23 | ![]() srs8
14/1/2024 12:55 | All will be revealed the next weeks anyway. Wouldn’t be surprised to see results delayed. No point rehashing the arguments. The numbers will tell it. No doubt unless they are terrible you boys will declare victory. I’ve seen it 10 times here. Remember. The toast is the only one that loves you and tried to help you x | ![]() havinthelasttoast
14/1/2024 12:53 | Thanks for advice Bob. You don’t really understand shorting. If I was a professional account with no negative account protection and with no GSL then yes it’s risky, but for me it’s no more risky than a long. | ![]() havinthelasttoast
14/1/2024 12:50 | I’ve never seen anyone so biased. You have turned into an SP28 and a Midas. Maybe it’s the same accounts. I never seen that coming. | ![]() havinthelasttoast
14/1/2024 12:49 | If it was so easy to hedge then we would not have had the issue we had. Matt isn’t a hedger he is a forward buyer (form of hedging yes) which means we be alright for a while. It’s punitive to hedge longer than 6 months and a gamble but one thing for sure is that there is not going to be any “bumper” profits from the extremely low prices we had recently. | ![]() havinthelasttoast
14/1/2024 12:28 | Franky/Toansy I don't think posting a factual 'THG buy update' from a paid subscription, that I received yesterday is ramping. If you think my info is gonna make you some money then good luck with that. But be careful with that short at 74p buddy, if the update comes and the news isn't bad then that could run away from you. You have turned into Frankie, and I guess we will have to get used to that. Just never in a million years did I see that coming, funny :) | ![]() billionarebob
14/1/2024 12:25 | Barchart.com Whey futures is a good read Has highlighted whey would go up for past 4-6 months so easy to hedge | ![]() srs8
14/1/2024 12:24 | Whey is volatile. It’s currently around its 10 year average. Highest at the moment is 47 and then going back to 28s [...] Most whey manufacturers would have hedged and locked in the h2 lows and will look to lock in the lows in the next 9-12 months Basic hedging. Not possible in 2022 due to inflationary extremes. Sure lessons would have been learned | ![]() srs8 |
