It is common for folk to think that the wealthy are different than them. They also believe that if they had the money their lives would be so much different than now.

As we see with lottery winners they don’t keep it long. This is simply a lie you tell yourself that why would a millionaire be here. I know of three other multi millionaires on the boards that regular chat. It’s a very weak argument that disco and one that the average Joe tells themselves.

Anyway I am here because I love you. You remember my post at the start of Jan that was given with love? I was lambasted by imperalist which I expect and all the LTHs. That was 81p and I got out at 86p. Enough said.

I appreciate it moved fast and people felt like they didn’t have the time to get out. So let’s just not argue anymore and wait for results. If bob doesn’t ramp I’ll not tell the truth here.

Paddy's not saying anything any sensible investor wouldnt already be questioning but not one of you can respond with a counter argument so ask yourselves why is that...Some underlying agenda, too deep with your investment into this tripe or something else!

...And I honestly don't understand which school of bloody thought you people went too because this is just bloody ridiculous and regardless of your investment into anything you need to question everything and be objective to the opinions of others eventhough you may not always agree with them otherwise you've lost even before you've started, I kid you not!

They very well may get the outcome they want because there is the unknowns.

However just as a business case this investment doesn’t stand up currently.

Growth company with no growth. 85 percent repeat rate means they have capped out. What you want to see with any business is less than 70 percent repeat rate so they have room to grow.

Barely cash flow positive and no actual profit just adjusted ebitda.

Ultra low margins in beauty.

Whey going up again

Nuturion slowing.

The worst ceo in the history of the LSE. Possibly.

Debt coming up for renewal in the next two years.

If this was 40p I’d prob have a stab.

I just love how anyone with any opposing views to the 'Fateful' especially someone like Paddy that was so keen on reaping the rewards of his significant investment here but has changed his view now and is being lambasted because the rampers are so du_mb to realise why that is!

...But take a moment and try and understand why he's changed his perspective now because I assure you he will be far more 'Learned' with all his investing in future like someone else I know and you mu_g punters will just continue as you always have and that my dear friends is what differentiates the wheat from the chaff with ones investing unfortunately!

Agree that bumper profits are from the very low whey. We will see this in h2 23 and h1 24 when prices were record low.
H2 24 will be tougher comps. Currency could help as usd sterling has hindered h2 23. More retail listings and volumes would also help as higher margin due to lower marketing costs. Licensing deals needed too as pure ebitda ie the frozen food, cheese and cereals/ yoghurts to come.
On h2, I think this is why they may have slowed down sales. Average promo weight is down in h2 vs h1 23

You don’t really understand shorting. If I was a professional account with no negative account protection and with no GSL then yes it’s risky, but for me it’s no more risky than a long.

If it was so easy to hedge then we would not have had the issue we had.

Matt isn’t a hedger he is a forward buyer (form of hedging yes) which means we be alright for a while. It’s punitive to hedge longer than 6 months and a gamble but one thing for sure is that there is not going to be any “bumper” profits from the extremely low prices we had recently.

Whey is volatile. It’s currently around its 10 year average.
Highest at the moment is 47 and then going back to 28s

Most whey manufacturers would have hedged and locked in the h2 lows and will look to lock in the lows in the next 9-12 months

Basic hedging. Not possible in 2022 due to inflationary extremes. Sure lessons would have been learned
