24/11/2021 17:27 | But Softbank is Japanese? Does that not cause a conflict of interest? | ![]() f56
24/11/2021 17:16 | Agree with 1pencil - more funds will come on board with a premium listing, which will also open up THG to more ESG funds which is becoming an area of growing importance to investors. THG with the same Chair and CEX is currently off limits but this will change early next year. The doubters here would say that 1. ingenuity is a dud 2. CEX as a THG landlord is a concern 3. recent circa. 850m share award for hitting a target price well above current levels should be renegotiated 4. analysts still want more info on company financials. All of this I would argue is factored into the current price but DYOR. | ![]() indomie1
24/11/2021 17:15 | update is in january | ![]() jbourne1
24/11/2021 17:05 | Softbank cant invest until the Ingenuity business is separated from the THG Group so also important that this is still on schedule. A good trading update in two weeks (7th Dec last year) and news on premium listing on the FTSE will also drive this stock higher imo. | ![]() indomie1
24/11/2021 17:04 | Things should stabilise with a move up to the main indexes, it's fairly obvious main stream institutions are either staying away or simply cannot buy due to listing constraints, fully understandable. This on its own is probably the single biggest factor for the share price fall, normally market makers have fund managers on hand to backstop any material slide, lets face it the price has dropped on gossip and little else. Sooner they get a date in the diary the better imo | ![]() 1pencil
24/11/2021 17:03 | OK. So It looks like it depends on Softbank negotiations. | ![]() f56
24/11/2021 16:59 | Because people are extremists in general imo.Its currently trading at less market cap than 2017. Come on right!? | ![]() senseibull
24/11/2021 16:55 | THG still seem keen on an IPO for the beauty e-commerce division next year, and possibly another IPO for nutrition, and depending on who you ask the ingenuity division has the potential to be another Amazon, Ocado or Shopify - but in reality this business is still in initial high growth phase, so its potential is still disputed by some analysts. Softbank have put a large valuation on ingenuity, even if the current share price doesnt reflect this upside potential, but now uncertainty as to whether they will close on the deal or renegotiate given share price fall over past month. Softbank have appointed a NED to the Board, and hold a stake in the plc, so are in for the long term. Other e-commerce players such as Boohoo and ASOS are also down about 40% recently, but THG down a massive 70-75%. | ![]() indomie1

24/11/2021 16:39 | OK indomie1 but what’s the end result? | ![]() f56
24/11/2021 16:37 | Close looks promising, but we have said that every day for the last 2 weeks | ![]() bigballsbob1
24/11/2021 16:36 | THG isn't listed on a US exchange? f56 - THG unlikely to go private sub £5 a share IPO price. More likely in my view the Board will follow the example set by Ingenuity and sell a minority stake in some of its businesses to maximise value for shareholders. Mgmt clearly feel the London market is struggling to value THG fairly. | ![]() indomie1
