AIM-listed investment bank Numis has apologised and handed itself in to the City watchdog, after one of its employees circulated a bold memo suggesting that ecommerce group THG had "irregularities in accounting".Numis, a bookrunner on THG's IPO just over a year ago, has found itself in a sticky situation after the memo to hundreds of institutional clients went a step too far last week and accused THG of "a lack of clarity".Alongside the murky allegations, a bearish Numis employee questioned the value of THG's controversial Ingenuity arm – already a topic of concern among shareholders – and recommended that those in receipt of the memo reduced their stakes in the group.

Just posted on his Twitter hoping THG have him investigated. Something not right only he was skating THG and bringing old news out to put fear into investors to sell . Just stinks his vendetta that's what it looks like . One man band trying to take a Billion pound company down . Really hope they do check this guy out just really looks bias

Re ‘media moguls’, it’ll be interesting to learn whether there are any links / connections / associations between the author of the numis note, and Oliver Shah @ The Times. Shah has not yet made any comment re this development on his twitter profile and which, coincidentally, details that he has authored his own book titled “Damaged Goods”...

And AT means Automatic Trade... ie algos. That trade with the indexes. So you can't really use them as a indication of sentiment

Gap down at open turned around and close higher than yesterday, with positive catalyst. That's all that matters. This goes higher from here. Shorts been caught offside. You can see that by that almighty spike that created the days range. No amount of trash talk will help lol. The more you talk it down the worse it'll be for Short seller's lol

Today after USA opened then it started to tank . If you look at trades from 3.00pm someone kept dumping AT trades of 1,221 go and check so you still have the USA short string this for some reason . My be they know news about court case and how it's going to go . ?? I have never seen so many trades same amount one after other . It's 100% being shorted big style in the USA . 0n one page of ADVFN page 22 trades all AT 1,221 amounts .
