It’s gone from 218 to 175 in just over 7 days trading . So you really need something positive now in news or this will be back down to 175 tomorrow very quickly .

Could be a class action here. Our chancer SpazBob lost -40% and others -75%, lost all his handicap benefits here.

Bankruptcy looms for numis, malicious claims to destroy someone wealth...

I think it's purely based on lack of RNS, institutions and buyers have many many stocks in their watchlist and portfolios, usually the info they look for is on an rns via alerts. If that lands in the morning then I think it will be fireworks time. Great find whoever posted the news earlier, allowed me to bolster my position up. If they did see the news they will not want to be reckless with big money. As many are aware the media can spin things about.

Again if this is actually a significant shift why aren't buyers coming in before close. Markets adjust quickly, you can't say it's because people haven't noticed the news yet

The problem is that no one was saying that publicly in the first place! Just because they've withdrawn it, some investors will now be thinking that there's no smoke without fire and they only withdraw it to avoid legal issues.

You would like to think that this has now put down its low point and will start to build back up from here. The sad thing is the Numis damage is done. The old saying no smoke without fire will be believed by many and it will take a while for the share price to recover. THG need to file a lawsuit against NUMIS for this disgraceful professional behaviour. Is the city of London being run by coke heads nowadays.

Probably is the basis for it Sensi, but it's irrelevant, there was other analysts valuing it higher. There's no law covering it, it's opinions. Alleging accounting irregularities without evidence could attract legal action though.
The problem is uncertainly. The report from 'The Analyst' probably created more doubts than anything from Numis. They have called various scandals correctly and in some cases have been threatened with legal action for their claims, which ultimately turned out to be true. When there's uncertainty, investors decide it's not worth the risk and put their money in one of the thousands of other options.
