11/6/2024 08:05 | A deal or sale with EurasianGaz will probably be the next RNS. Rather than the licences which were most likely just wishful thinking or pure BS, to make a deal look like the only viable option,as they aren't likely to be granted, for some BS reason. Happily eat those words if it all works out. But I kind of think that since they announced their active position of looking for a buyer for the gas fields that this was their intention all along. | 1399peter
10/6/2024 19:52 | Like I said Dr3dd, I have my doubts. Have we all been taken for a long old walk down the garden path. I guess we'll find out by the end of the month. | 1399peter
08/6/2024 11:00 | Place your bets! Licences by the end of 2nd quarter. | 1399peter
03/6/2024 20:51 | Hope you are right Peter. QG is the mate you should never give money to as you have no chance of ever seeing it again 🙄 | cutliff2
03/6/2024 20:12 | Cutliff, I'm not totally confident myself. But apparently we have got Eurasian/Olisol doing their bit which does give me a bit of hope for a favourable outcome regards licenses. QG on the other hand are a thorn in the side by the sounds of it and very difficult to do business with. I seriously doubt we'll see anything from those thieving mugs. Apart from more trouble. | 1399peter
03/6/2024 18:54 | This is not looking good and the gas fields up for sale and the never ending wait for the licence are red flags as far as I can see. Always thought Pope was our safety net but dealing with these guys might be too much for even them. I was a shareholder in Afren so I maybe always look to the worst scenario | cutliff2
01/6/2024 10:55 | During a recent summit in Astana, Kazakhstan, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov's remarks stirred attention in China. These were comments about Mongolia creating closer ties to the US and delaying their membership into the SCO. But as we all know Russia is constantly putting pressure on its neighbours to stop dealing with the West. I think that is what Tethys is up against. Edit: should have said potentially what they're up against. It could just be QG making life awkward also. Apparently Eurasiangaz are doing their best to help push for licenses also. Makes sense being one of the largest shareholders in Tethys. They are still hopeful of a successful outcome. Let's see what transpires over the coming weeks. | 1399peter
01/6/2024 04:47 | Yep the gangsters are still doing their best to steal it by the looks of it. The anti western attitude in the region is helping greatly I'm sure. | 1399peter
31/5/2024 20:42 | Tethys Petroleum Press Release: Corporate Update NewsfileMay 31, 2024 4:35 PM EDT Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands--(Newsfile Corp. - May 31, 2024) - Tethys Petroleum Limited (TSXV: TPL) ("Tethys" or the "Company") is pleased to provide an update on the Company's operations in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Operations update Test production from the KBD-10 and KBD-11 wells has totaled about 11,000 tons through May 27. The Board of Directors has approved an effort for Management to solicit offers to sell the gas fields using a starting price of $50 million. 30/5/2024 18:23 | Don't forget $3.00 would be a massive bonus to those holding 10's of millions. But poultry to us Pi's. Given the time its taken. And exchange rate. | 1399peter
28/5/2024 15:41 | March 20th 2024 The Company is hoping to receive the commercial license by the end of May. The oil handling and gas utilization facilities are not yet complete, but the Company expects to have them in place and operational when the commercial license is received | 1399peter
25/5/2024 14:33 | Cutliff I'm hoping Bill sticks to his word with end of May 2024 lol.But as stated in last comms, within 2nd quarter. Could mean June. But we all know this has little meaning when dealing with Kaz government agencies. | 1399peter |
