Just returned from my local Tesco, Halloween is now gone and 6 full tubs of Pumpkins unsold and there is supposed to be a world wide food shortage - what a complete waste - no more than 1/4, if that of the original Pumpkins were sold.

To be completely insane, down just one isle, 6 members of staff taking things off shelves for home delivery while at the same time down the same isle 5 members of staff stacking the very same shelves all 11 with either cages or what ever they're called putting items into. As well as complete insanity, very, very low productivity. What was even worse, this left hardly any room for the customer, I could hardly get to the shelves myself or even walk with my trolley down the isle as full of so many Tesco staff.

Blackhorse is a paid ramper. Check his post history. He spams every popular thread saying the same thing. Currys is in deep trouble and he’s trying to help someone offload shares before it’s too late. Avoid CURY!

In my local Tescos, there was a big queue of people paying by cash. But we live in the North not the soft South.

Tesco's, Bulls Bridge, Hayes will be losing customers if they don't sort their till problem staffing out. 2 till operators on the till Friday afternoon - 6 customers with trollies queuing up - taking 20 - 30 minutes getting through the till.
The Manager said they were waiting for staff to come in. , but this is not the first time.
The problem really do need sorting out, to avoid losing business,
Not everyone wants to use the self service tills with a trolley full of goods.
If the manager can't do better organising the Store maybe he needs to be replaced.

Supermarkets filming you while you are shopping, removing your ability to pay with cash, Sunak implementing a CBDC. Zee great reset is upon us.

Aldi to pay all UK store staff at least £11 an hour in supermarket first

The discount retailer, which employs over 40,000 UK staff, said that all store assistants will receive the new rate from January 1.

The sheeple are easily led, too busy moaning about the weather rather than concentrating on fixing the roof.

It would be nice if the Media came out with a few facts that have gone missing in the political debate (I use the word debate in a very loose sense of its meaning).

They could always ask Starmer how much of the current pain is due to the mini-budget and how much is pre-existing as a result of all the events we have been exposed to and the rate increases that have been happening for months. Also how are they going to plug the funding gap, as the measures they talk about go less than half way. Unless they reduce the help to households.

They won’t though. I was probably going to vote Labour next time, but they seem to be completely stuck in some sort of whingeathon since the start of Covid. What’s going to happen when they actually have to do something ?

Why didn’t they major on the renewable energy plan ages ago. Bang on about that a lot more and capture a lot of floating voters.

HT - The gas company I use are already talking about lowering their gas prices below the maximum figure per M3 set by the government.

That's good. Electricity price is set from the gas price, do surely bills have downward pressure now? Cmon Rishi. A chance for a coup?

Media are always doing doom and gloom as they also did with the price of gas in August, as today the current whole price of gas is down since 70% from it's August high.

I think some of the recent fall was because of gilt yields rising after the mini-budget, making high dividend stocks less attractive.

Classic that the media were doing the doom thing at the bottom when it was priced in. I hope.

At this level the income plus capital growth (say 3 years) seems compelling.

Wouldn’t surprise me if the algorithms kicked in soon.

Blue Nun, Chicken Kiev and Black Forest Gateaux.

Now that takes us all back to the '70's.

Maybe a little Abba playing in the background.

I like the Club Card Prices on some of Tescos Finest Wines. O.K. they swap the offers around however I usually find something that is great value and quality.

For me Club Card Prices are a real winner.

Looks that way but the same can be said for many more out there too right now.
It wouldn't take much poor economic data to take the froth off again and this one give up 5% and be back at 200 but I hope not 🤞🏻
