Interesting to see HSBC being appointed to buy back £150 million of shares.

I wonder if/why CITI has been side lined?

That's quite an amazing bean story. I like the secrecy of the sauce ingredients, just like the Scottish IRN BRU

My old friend bought Heinz beans in our local Tesco yesterday, they had the no added sugar stuff in four packs and the regular beans in individual cans at a £1 each, she said her son wouldn't eat anything else despite them having Branston and their own label stuff aplenty very much cheaper.

Checked Tesco. Beans 40p. Club card price 4 for 1.30. During my Foodbank stint discussing prices somebody told me beans were 1.20 in Sainsbury. Popped into Sainsbury next door to find beans at 40p. Also a Hubbard's store tin at 21p with an Aldi price match sticker. So fake news spreads to the price of beans! Ha ha.

Only the stupid waste money on health hazard booze?

Families are OFFICIALLY suffering the worst squeeze on record: Household incomes tumble for four quarters in a row for the first time since 1955

I have another hedge against inflation. Scotland has a minimum price of a unit of alcohol. 50p for a 25cl spirit unit, 14 pounds a bottle, 20 pounds a litre. Since that was a legally forced price there is room for absorption of manufacturers price increases. Still 20 pounds a litre. England don't have a minimum legal price and booze was cheaper than Scotland. Has anybody noticed booze price increase in England?
