Mike, we just need a global to part with a nosebleed sum and then we can grab another 10-12 IoT gems to polish.

For any new investorsTERN FACT: Microsoft want keyscaler to automate their IOT offering at scale to avoid the "harder tasks" of doing it manually, which is not sufficient for large scale requirements. Keyscalers USP is IOT security at scale through automation, the clue is in the name. I would take from the webinar that MICROSOFT do actually need Keyscaler from a pure common sense perspective, now let that sink in, and look at the ridiculously low share price.

Miketurneruk, I'm not sure Microsoft are that bothered to be honest.

After all, they and companies like them cheerfully let other outfits develop firewall, antivirus, search and destroy and all the rest of the IT security stable right from the start and let customers pick and choose as they saw fit.

What you have today that is radically different is that the IoT has identified very specific issues which need solutions (not endless warfare) and Microsoft have seen fit to point the world at Device Authority to solve them.

So have Thales, Intel, Sectigo etc.

This is huge.

All along this was a binary bet. Either the biggest players would need DA and DA would be worth a nosebleed sum or they would vanish without trace.

We have our answer.

There is one point I’m in agreement with Duxy on. I’m sure Microsoft don’t like the fact that they need to rely on DA to provide the automated certificate security for their solution. I guess that’s where the patents come in and why MS have to bring DA into their own IoT deals. Great USP

I am sure you know how to purchase an APP, you choose it, in the Azure Marketplace you hit the ‘Contact Us’ button..

Microsoft do not call you...

Sweepie....nail on head in three words " it means little. "Leaving out the rest of your BS moan and fantasy of blue days....be honest, there is absolutely nothing in the webinar that warrants a rise in the share price ...all fuff, air and the stench of yet another PUMP AND DUMP

When are we going to get any reveal that Microsoft needs keyscaler and that Device Authority are a key partner. You get that and we will be off and roaring to the Moon but my usual moan is that we need to this in a RNS before the share price will start to move ahead. Am pretty hopeful of something from DA next week being placed on the web site, It was right last time from the e-mail but if Tern don't release it means little. But happier this weekend than last, the MS webinar was absolutely amazing in its content.

Next week will see the volume going nuts like the last couple of days I hope Tern add fuel to that fire, they might get that chance

Why do Microsoft require Keyscaler, do they have a large number of IoT devices that need securing..

There are other options, globalsign can take care of device Provisioning for azure users...

By itself, the Azure IoT Hub and its ancillary services do not provide any method for issuing X.509 certificates to devices. The IoT Hub service provides a method to manage device communication to Azure, and the companion IoT Device Provisioning Service (DPS) provides a method for registering devices to IoT Hubs using X.509 certificates for device identification. There is, however, no default Azure IoT service for provisioning devices with certificates to be used for this identification mechanism.
This is where this solution guide steps in. The GlobalSign IoT Identity Platform certificate issuance service along with GlobalSign’s IoT Edge Enroll can be used to provision IoT devices with trusted identities for accessing the internet and IoT infrastructure using X.509 certificates. These certificates can be used to securely authenticate with Azure DPS and gain access to an IoT Hub.

How can Microsoft scale ANY of their IoT for Enterprise is the question we should be asking.

Will any of the big SI's touch them if they can't ? A big risk for their customer rollouts !!

A good article for those not clued up on FVR.

Fundamental Surgery combines VR with cutting-edge haptic technology, which creates a sense of touch, to offer a near-lifelike surgical experience for trainees and qualified surgeons. The blend of VR and haptic technology allows users to experience visuals, sounds and physical feedback as they would during a real surgical procedure. The physical feedback in particular is a really powerful part of the platform; rather than offering a point-and-click experience, it enables users to feel resistance depending on what action they’re performing, thanks to “haptic arm” Touch controllers from 3D Systems.
