Way back at the start I invested here for Cryptosoft and spent countless hours understanding what it did and what else was out there.

To be honest I was concerned that either Thales or Gemalto would come up with something to trump it (ironic just a tad?) but everything else looked as though it was somewhat behind.

Anyway, it was pretty clear that Cryptosoft needed the 'design spec' for IoT security, needed to tick every box, do so before anyone else did and also protect their solution by way of patents.

Not only that but the business plan was for blue chips to pick up this solution and either incorporate it into their own offering or have it as an essential ingredient for a total piece of functionality.

In short, the finished product needed to be a solution. A cast iron, patent protected, do everything necessary solution.

This, in hindsight, was a ludicrously massive 'ask' but I resolved to stay unless and until something fundamental came apart in the plan.

It didn't.

Fast forward.

In the space of a few weeks we have DA doing joint webinars with Intel, Thales and Microsoft.

Some of you may be losing sleep over your investment here.

I'm not.
