Thales saying they expect 42% of ALL iot devices to be secured by pki certificates over the next 2 years is the biggie for me..

I think AS mentions a target market of 1% for DA to capture, well that must need reviewed if we are in with the biggest in the ecosystem like Thales and Sectigo etc

anyone care to do the sums on say 30% of market captured..

We have Gemalto (a DA and Venafi partner) for keys and key vaults
and Sectigo, Digicert, Identrust and Eonti for the certificate side.

All wrapped up, even before the exponential growth transpires?

A DigiCert support person answered: ....Sorry for the delayed response, we checked in with our product team to get an accurate answer. Yes, this solution is still valid and in issue. Let us know if you have any more questions
===============================================================================

another out right lie from Kkriss2 backed up by the rampers here back in December. As it says clearly "the solution is valid" i.e. if you want to buy/use Keyscalar platform to manage your platforms Certificate, then its a valid platform we can sell and support you with. It's not a fundamental one we sell, its one of many and its your choice which you want as a customer.

Let's not forget those Zeiss eye laser machines (via SyroCon), needing (connected) security per device... and the partner at PTS: Elekta (linear accelerator - cancer treatment)

Just checked Google images for the laser eye surgery machine shown in the Syrocon presentation.

in the webinar at:

my take-aways:

at 24min (eye laser systems)
KS = DA's KeyScaler:

IoT Client is up & running, says Syrocon
it contains the Thingworx client library, the KS library to provide the necessary crypto & security routines
and also the connectivity thru' the KS server

the file is encrypted by DA & then transferred to the IoT platform (AWS)

at 44m, we see Thales & Gemalto (far right)

44 min the magic word: 'onboarding'
and Mr Dobson (46 min 15s) describes KS as the 'orange glue' on the slide (to make all this happen: IoT + IAM + medical devices + hospital management).

PTC describes its client-company Elekta (linear accelerator - cancer treatment), and the goal of many connected devices.
