29/1/2019 14:47 | Kkrr11ss229 Jan '19 - 13:40 - 135974 of 135981 0 3 0 Teamviewer tweet I am consistently amazed by @TeamViewer. I can sit at my desk and computer in Christchurch, and just instantly copy and paste files I'm working with from my NZ computer right onto my work computer and network drive in London. What is this sorcery?!ends. Wonder who encrypts the data in transit ==================== All TeamViewer versions use full encryption. Encryption is based on 2048bit RSA private/public key exchange and 256 Bit AES session encoding. Device authority is not a CA and as such has nothing to do with the actual certificate. I believe the partnership is to explore new solution and not on its existing offering which is highly successful, been around for years and does not require Keyscalar. You are being highly disingenuous to suggest otherwise hoping those not technically minded would take your word as gospel. This is the same across most of your posts. On a separate note, Enterprises prefer to use 2-factor authenticated (2FA) products, in this age of constant cyber attacks, so Teamviewer and LogMeIn are not used. Instead specialist 2FA authenticated products are created for Enterprise. LogMeIn has created GoToAssist, which is is an example of this. | duxy786
29/1/2019 14:37 | from an investors point of view, the newsflow from Tern is just dull, look down the news items, I think the last exciting bit of "new" news was back on 15/8. which caused the mini rise to 25p ish, after that nothing. there lies the problem and you can see why this has dropped for 5 months despite what has been uncovered and appeared unofficially.. zzzzzzzz | still waiting
29/1/2019 14:23 | Morning drop, and a gradual afternoon recovery, that never quite makes it.. We have had many of those days.... It's all getting rather tedious. Maybe the directors can't buy tern stock this month, as an exit is close A director buy would do wonders though. To demonstrate belief... When was the last one? | andrbea

29/1/2019 14:11 | The article is too technical for me, however it does appear to focus on significant changes/opportunity in the future. Any thoughts on the comment contained within the first sentence, specifically in respect of Wyld/Mesh, namely, "......but for wide-area IoT device access, cellular service is really the only game in town." Mobile Operators Building a New Channel for IoT Mobile operators are positioning themselves as the one-stop-shop for “packaged&rdqu January 28, 2019 Two overriding wireless technologies will likely power the Internet of Things (IoT), and one of those is entirely under the control of the mobile operators (MOPs). WiFi has become the preferred wireless technology for in-home IoT applications, but for wide-area IoT device access, cellular service is really the only game in town. Satellite might be a wide-area option for some classes of applications, but it falls short in terms of low power draw and low device cost. While the MOPs have been ramping up availability of IoT-focused network services like LTE Cat M1 and Narrowband IoT (NB-IoT), their bigger role in IoT might be in providing a sales channel for what I call “packaged IoT solutions.” Article continues...... | tullynessle
29/1/2019 13:53 | From my above link Market ready IoT requires the collaboration of multiple technology leaders Device Authority’s KeyScaler IoT security platform and TeamViewer’s industry leading connectivity solutions together will provide integrated connectivity, access management and data privacy for global IoT deployments at scale. A horizontal, non-proprietary IoT solution, TeamViewer IoT enables users to easily handle any device endpoint from anywhere in the world in real-time. Device Authority builds on this with synergetic IoT IAM capabilities that provide trust for IoT devices and the IoT ecosystem. | kkrr11ss2
29/1/2019 13:52 | Interesting article from the New York Times in March 2018. Ten months later it is clear that the US is trying to thwart Chinese domination of 5G. I agree with US tactics the Chinese are always trying to run with the hares and hunt with the hounds - they do not acknowledge foreigners IP in their own country but expect their companies to have a level playing field in other countries. | stentorian
29/1/2019 13:49 | Don't get the 20 Feb deadline for the final $160K (£120K). Is AS saying they will hold back the final £120 k after lending millions if deadlines aren't met ? - surely not. But if he has such confidence in DA - why the deadline ? Maybe it was his way of telling the market something was happening soon. Don't get it. | upthegardenpath

29/1/2019 13:31 | Surely Al would not put up a target that was likely to be missed I am sure he is cleverer than that. So why is the share price not reacting positively to what must surely be a positive outcome by 20 Feb. | jprich

29/1/2019 13:18 | where are DA at with the mno's ? While the MOPs may have the network and the contacts to sell IoT, they don’t have the apps -- with the exception of Verizon, which bought Hughes Telematics back in 2012. However, hundreds of smaller companies have recognized the value of coupling cellular network services and either smartphones or specialized IoT endpoints (e.g., IoT devices that connect to vehicle onboard diagnostics ports to create high-value IoT services). What those app suppliers lack is a big-time distribution channel. What’s shaping up here is a match made in heaven. Recognizing the slowing growth in smartphone sales, the MOPs are looking to recharge the wireless industry with IoT lines. These lines might not generate the monthly revenue of smartphone lines, but the numbers could be massive, and the revenue stream far more stable than consumer lines that can easily flip with the next carrier promotion. To help get the wheels rolling to IoT, the MOPs have been adding any number of third-party IoT apps to their product lines. | still waiting

29/1/2019 12:58 | to achieve IoT at scale: Important to note that ARM Pelion came up against a brick wall, and had to RUN TO Intel SDO for the answer... '... "that is why ARM's Pelion IoT management platform will use Intel's Secure Device Onboard specifications for automation and management of IoT devices, network connections and data transfers". relevance of SDO... back to DA: SDO, a great link: Posted by Intel (originally from warrenfingerfood, dated 6 Jul '18 ) watch it all, especially at 35m55s (DA shown). DA a big part of Intel security or not then:-) it looks vital to me, absolutely key to the system working. | andrbea

29/1/2019 12:39 | Another point worth mentioning of interest.......any holder of stock i.e long on ex dividend date (if and when it occurs) will obviously receive that dividend. What most but not all may be aware of is anyone short will in fact be liable to pay that dividend or the equivalent thereof. Probably a case that some 'uneducated' shorters that have sold down may be unaware of....... | flashheart |
