09/1/2023 16:37 | There has been quite a shift in the energy market. Telecom plus struggled for some years against companies undercutting, but it's been shown that these businesses like bulb were built on sand. Should be good times ahead for TP. Incidentally our internet went down a few days ago. It was a bt openreach problem but the telecom plus customer service was excellent. | buoycat
09/1/2023 13:14 | Wigoderfound a good selling level. | stirkjames
09/1/2023 11:34 | A good buying level | montynj
10/12/2022 08:38 | It's surely more than just another basket so far as the founders are concerned, but heh ho. | dogwalker
09/12/2022 21:26 | Just spoken to a former Company Secretary of TEP. He tells me Wigoder family continue to sell down on their holding 'not to have too many eggs in one basket'. He is very bullish about future of TEP heading for FTSE 100 and £30 plus share price. | cleaver2
07/12/2022 11:57 | 2018 you last used your other account, so fair enough on that subject. | disc0dave45
07/12/2022 11:50 | Yeah right, you used a login youve not used for years, whatever.I do challenge as like to get a "balanced" view.As posted, irrespective the facts are that the Chair is selling off in large volumes. That is a undeniable fact, whether you wish to dismiss that fact is entirely up to you.IMO this still has some upside but aware now of BoD taking profits / selling so will see. | disc0dave45
07/12/2022 11:08 | Good to see you're not entirely asleep! I accidentally logged on a handle I had to stop using years ago to avoid regulatory issues at work, d'oh! No assumptions being made from me, the total declared holding is over 11 million, therefore the disposal is a proportion of that, facts not opinions. You do a similar thing on other boards I've noted, so there is nothing wrong in correcting you. Meanwhile, a Chair selling stock gradually is no bad thing, if most of the holding had been dumped in one go that would be more concerning. ATB | iamnotanumber6
07/12/2022 10:58 | How many handles have you got? You’ve not corrected anybody, nobody knows if it was actually a 30% or 47% sell off, you are assuming it was 30%, as I was assuming 47%, but I’m open to either possibility unlike yourself. Will leave it there as can see you are not exactly open to fact that a Chair is selling a lot of stock (again). All the best | disc0dave45
07/12/2022 10:50 | No, not evaded me at all, I'm just correcting you! In fact, if you'd bothered to look, you will have seen that, given recent history, this is not a great surprise: November 2021 - he sold 2.5m shares, obviously a bear signal, at, er, £14.50..... June 2020 - sold 3.2m, obviously a bear signal, at, er, £13.50..... I would have said, particularly as a Family Foundation is concerned, that reducing a holding is good financial planning, especially if the CGT regime looks to be being tightened up in the future. Always good to have a balanced view! | eburne1960
07/12/2022 10:03 | Thanks for info.So we don't really know then, could be c 30% or 47%, either way the point seems to have evaded you. | disc0dave45
07/12/2022 07:25 | We would need to see how much of the 3.5m are non-beneficial shares. As I believe, the 11m includes them. "‘Non-benefici | slopsjon2
06/12/2022 23:45 | Sorry to correct you, but the 7.42m is his beneficial holding - his total holding was (from the annual report) 11,014,169. The RNS clearly states: Charles Wigoder (Non-Executive Chairman), the Wigoder Family Foundation and a number of other smaller shareholders including family members of Charles Wigoder (collectively, the "Selling Shareholders") announce that they have sold 3.5 million existing ordinary shares at a price of 2,400 pence per share (the "Placing Shares") in the Company (representing approximately 4.4% of the Company's issued share capital) (the "Placing"). So 3.5m out of his beneficial and non-beneficial holding is 31.8%. In fact the percentage could be even smaller as some of the "other smaller shareholders" may not even be connected to Wigoder. | iamnotanumber6
06/12/2022 20:32 | Thanks, that was my understanding too. | disc0dave45
06/12/2022 19:15 | He held 7.42m and sold 3.5m, which is nearly half or 47.2%, going by Sharepads holdings. | slopsjon2
06/12/2022 18:57 | Oh ps wasn't trying to be "dramatic" | disc0dave45
06/12/2022 18:56 | I went on 4.4% and holding was 9.4%. Apologies if not correct, but can you say how you got the 30%. Thanks | disc0dave45
06/12/2022 16:09 | Actually it's just over 30%, but that doesn't sound as dramatic as "nearly half" does it? Getting the bookbuild away at a 1.5% discount to the closing price was quite encouraging, I thought, shows there's demand there. | iamnotanumber6
06/12/2022 13:36 | £84m is some profit taking!Nearly halving his stake, bet holders taking his lead today wouldn't have said no to £24. Was the recent ride up manipulated......of course not!. | disc0dave45
05/12/2022 22:00 | It maybe Wigoder believing the share price has run ahead of itself thereby tempting them to take profits off the table & no one would blame him following wealth created by holding TEP | base7
05/12/2022 20:51 | Wonder why they are selling after the upbeat forecast. | stirkjames
05/12/2022 17:42 | Sneaky RNS one minute after the closing auction, 4.4% of shares to be sold via placing. | disc0dave45
28/11/2022 23:27 | I guess you're suggesting it's well overpriced? I am surprised to see it go so high, and now have a PE ration of 43.72, that's close to Tesla territory and nearly double that of Apple. Interesting hype? | goforno123
26/11/2022 10:56 | Compare the market cap against net assets...quite scaring ..but pump and dump continues on broken shares | covid 19 deal
22/11/2022 13:56 | Full year at least 80p per share | estienne |
