19/1/2022 15:26 | Danmark, I think there are reasons why the price is not flying, principally that of the investment companies, BELL has yet to turn significant revenue and the others remain private small companies. The TEK price remains prospective ie it is what these companies are gonna do rather than doing. Now I think that is a very good reason to invest, full stop, and Ive been doing so since May 2020. Buying when the future is fully priced in makes little sense , but to establish momentum now in the TEK price I think we need to see BELL sales and Lucyd/Salarius publish their prospectus(es)! | faz
17/1/2022 15:34 | Believe he raised his target price to 45p recently | chile89
17/1/2022 13:34 | If you follow the logic Simon applied you would be looking at 40p+ now IMHO | cheshire
17/1/2022 13:33 | Simon Thompson's recent commentTekCapital (TEK:25p), an investment company focused on food technology, autonomous vehicles, smart eyewear and respiratory medical devices offers potential to deliver similar hefty returns. In fact, having first suggested buying the shares at 15.5p (Alpha Research: 'Follow the smart money on technology', 15 June 2021), I see upside to my 35p raised target. Recent newsflow is highly supportive. | cheshire
17/1/2022 12:38 | Is there a historic reason or significant reason why 35p seems to be a resistance level for TEK? I can buy and sell plenty around this price. | danmart2
15/1/2022 10:02 | "...btgman 13 Jan '22 - 23:13 - 2470 of 2478 0 14 0 OK so I have a little time to explore/expand on TEK valuation and share price and thoughts on this. Firstly I note the following on 21st November TEK share price was 37p and on the same day Belluscura share price was £1.01. Belluscura share price at close today to sell £1.45 an increase of 44p which is worth £7.52m to TEK or a little over 5.3p per share..." .................... RNS 16 Aug 21: ".. Operational highlights: Portfolio Companies Belluscura(R) Plc ("Belluscura") (15% ownership) www.belluscura.com .... -- In April 2021, Tekcapital converted its warrants and options held in Belluscura for new ordinary shares of 1 pence each in Belluscura, bringing total shares held to 17.1 million -- On May 28 2021, Belluscura consummated its IPO and commenced trading on the AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange. At the IPO Price of 45 pence per Belluscura share, Tekcapital's holding was worth US$10.8m, compared to the book value of US$2m as at 30 November 2020. " '''''''''''''''''''' 17.1 million shares @1.32 = £22,572,000 ($30,700,000) TEK mcap currently: £48.8m What have I missed? BTW, if BELL got taken over (a distinct possibility, imo), TEK could bank at least £22.5m cash (depending on the share price of course!) | 2magpies
14/1/2022 18:34 | I think Simon Thompson from the Investors Chronicle had a revised target of 45p after his initial buy recommendation mid 2021. If I find the update I'll post it. | cheshire
14/1/2022 13:19 | For those that have the view "If microsalt was so brilliant, some of the major snackmakers would have been serious customers by now." Please reduce my earlier valuation by 2p. For those that have a view that it is worth more than £3m for every £1.41m above add 1p per share to valuation. In my mind the US government directive about reducing sodium intake late 2021 is likely to move this forward. In the meantime we have Saltme brand launching Feb in 1800 Kroger stores some may argue this would support a valuation of greater than £3m or will do very soon. Also looking forward to salt sachet release AIMHO GLA BTG | btgman
14/1/2022 11:04 | Give it time P&G on board imv | mr.oz
14/1/2022 10:37 | Salarius seems to be a great idea, but worrying that they valued it at so little when crowdfunding - where companies tend to be rather optimistically valued! If microsalt was so brilliant, some of the major snackmakers would have been serious customers by now. | igbertsponk
14/1/2022 10:34 | Salarius at £3.64m? As you wrote, you consider this to be worth considerably more; I do too. | danmart2
14/1/2022 09:14 | I don't own anything. Anywhere. I wish I did but that's life. | babbler
14/1/2022 09:10 | Babbler, Re. your research. May I ask why don't you own any stock ? | ptolemy
14/1/2022 07:56 | Thanks all One question - although carried at a very minor valuation (cost) what's the Smart food investment all about? | joe say
13/1/2022 23:13 | OK so I have a little time to explore/expand on TEK valuation and share price and thoughts on this. Firstly I note the following on 21st November TEK share price was 37p and on the same day Belluscura share price was £1.01. Belluscura share price at close today to sell £1.45 an increase of 44p which is worth £7.52m to TEK or a little over 5.3p per share. In the same period since 21.11.21 Salarius completed its oversubscribed crowd funding and confirmed that it is going in to 1800 Kroger stores from a previously declared 800 stores in the largest supermarket chain by revenue in the US. Meanwhile Lucyd has filed its initial IPO statement launched Vryb app and commenced selling in Best Buy. When you look at the some of the parts I would offer the following potential valuation notes. Bellescura value at closing selling price £25m Lucyd at $20m valuation i.e latest funding round £14.5m Salarius at crowd funding level £3.64m (fwiw you would have to walk me a long way to convince me Salarius is not worth significatly more than £3.64m) Guident £16m based on last accounts Cash raised 3.11.21 £3m Additional assets included in May 21 accounts $5m say £3m So all of the above £65m 45.5p v 34p share price and that is with Salarius at only £3m. It ignores the movement in Guident since May 21 and also ignores some of the holdings where we don't own quite 100%. Also ignores the relationship and and ip which will sit hidden in the 2500 universities. All of the above is very much where we are now but ignores huge potential upside for all 4 investments and makes TEK capital a fantastic addition to any portfolio at these levels. I very much doubt we will set at these levels for too much longer AIMHO GLA BTG | btgman
13/1/2022 17:16 | A very useful and detailed piece of research sir. Thank you again | mr.oz
13/1/2022 13:13 | hypers? I've been following it since 10 and know it very well. | babbler
13/1/2022 13:07 | I can’t stand share hypers, but with TEK it’s difficult to argue it’s not a solid investment at under 45p with lots of announcements and updates due soon. | danmart2

13/1/2022 12:25 | Thanks Segaris - ludicrous really. Thought I'd missed a part disposal or something | joe say
13/1/2022 12:18 | Yup, 25.22m at current mid, more than half our current market cap !! I'm sure those that can count will be joining the party shortly | segaris
13/1/2022 12:10 | Am I right that the BELL holding is 17.1m shares still - therefore roughly £24m at today's market rate | joe say
13/1/2022 10:33 | Market not reflecting Belluscura increasing significantly this is looking very undervalued AIMHO GLA BTG | btgman
11/1/2022 20:12 | Demand for home and hospital oxygen therapy by the use of oxygen concentrators looks set to grow hugely The WHO has once again belatedly stated some obvious observations , namely: 1) Continued booster shots are no longer a viable strategy 2) We need a new vaccine for omicron 3) 50% of Europe will be infected by omicron within weeks -------------------- buywell has previously gone further both here and on BUY where 3 Billion was forecast for 2022 within weeks of the start of this pandemic due to mutations omicron will not abate till around 75% of the world has acquired it We have been lucky that at the present time it affects the upper respiratory tract more so than the lungs as Delta did However what the WHO needs to do it look at the question and the solutions of how airborne viruses can be deactivated in indoor settings Remember for the first 12 months of this pandemic the WHO and the CDC were both of the opinion that Covid-19 was passed on via surfaces NOT BY BREATHING IN THE VIRUS That despite buywells best efforts --- we need more switched on advice from those who should know better | buywell3 |
