Just had a look at the Barratt's update, I'll be surprised if it impresses anyone.

Although TW are doing ok whenever they go up BARRATT and PSN seem to rise a lot more. Certainly don't think valuation wise that BDEV are worth close on £1.5 billion more and PSN up to £2 billion more. It was only around 6-9 months ago that valuations were roughly the same with TW and BDEV any reasons. We even have Berkley group with a higher valuation than TW .Any thoughts on why

Two big spikes within a week for the housing sector on the slightest sniff of good news. Seems like those whom have kept their powder dry are itching to get back in.

BJ's deal is likely to be even worse than 'No deal', so glad he's unlikely to get it through.

I sold some of mine yesterday to early. And l may sell more tomorrow because even with a deal BJ will never get it past the undemocratic gits in Westminster

Speed - thanks. If a deal is agreed, the next question will be when to take profit, as rise will be overdone.

I see the graph above and the Lloyds one, show a vertical take-off at 3.30pm. Anyone seen any news to support this?

Gentlemen, can I fully endorse Mr Jugears for his comments on the political state of play yesterday. Today, Mr Barnier is giving us the runaround as to an end in sight, but as jugears said "stranger things have happened'.
My belief is that Boris will have to do a lot of compromising to get us through, but, guess what?- I don't care as long as we get through by 31st Oct or soon after that.
Compromise on the backstop etc and let us get a deal!
After that, general election, and we can effect much change with, dare I say it, a majority that the conservatives can then change everything we compromised on!! Despite that I will continue to invest and collect the divi. Don't forget, vote Conservative.

It does seem very unlikely that there is time to negotiate by the end of the months but who knows stranger things have happend.

My money is on an extension. Boris will say we need a little more time to complete the details, and extend. Continuing to talk up the opportunity of a deal. Of course, he has to extend anyway, so this is just cover to ease his embarrassment of having to change his mind (again) over dying in a ditch ...

Volatile is the word. Markets grasping at any bit of rumour coming out of EU talks as the deadline approaches.

Right on the edge of breaking the downtrend since May. Got to hold above today and consolidate Monday to hold any credence.

Topped up my holding (9 month long contract) by 20% after slimming down my position on Set contract rollover. More luck than judgement but thought the recent fall was overdone. If this holds on Monday it will be a very strong breakout indeed. I agree. Any good news on the Brexit front will see 200p IMHO.
