11/10/2019 16:02 | Halliwell, why take profits now, I know it's a bit of a gamble but if a brexit deal is brokered soon these will go up by anything from 10 - 25% as will most other shares.Imo we haven't had our best day yet & this is just a teaser. | ![]() jugears

11/10/2019 14:56 | I've been invested in TW since December '08 and am struggling to remember a rise of this magnitude in the last ten years.Whatever the reason, long may it continue! | doyden
11/10/2019 14:48 | Riley, hmmmm. The builders have been moving according to Brexit news flow since original vote. Of course, if leave with no deal then likely drop into recession, but if deal then relief in general for the market, especially builders. | ![]() disneydonald
11/10/2019 13:19 | I cannot envisage 200p before next June (at best) but I've been wrong before so let's hope :) | ![]() gbh2

11/10/2019 13:03 | The only reason shares have risen today is because of the Country not slipping into recession according to the Office of National Statistics. | ![]() riley109
11/10/2019 12:59 | One or two panicking shorters around at the moment I'd imagine. £2 by tea time? ? | doyden
11/10/2019 12:40 | I let go of a few more at 162p, my holding is now where I want it to be going forward :) | ![]() gbh2

11/10/2019 11:17 | Brexit Deal or no deal, I think UK PLC will do well either way once a decision is made. A no deal will no doubt generate a market over reaction, get your cheque books out ready for buying opportunities. If its a deal, sit back and watch your stocks grow. TW building all over the place up here in Scotland, no worries either way for me with this stock. | ![]() 1carus
11/10/2019 11:10 | I like the long term view. The fundamentals haven't changed just opinion. :) £100k invested and happy with the divs. | ![]() craftyale
11/10/2019 10:37 | Just shows how much the share price fall has been connected to Brexit despite comments to the contrary by others on this thread !!!! | ![]() jugears

11/10/2019 10:22 | my goodness there is some money to be made in these times!! Very unfortunate that the average Joe struggles along with money sitting in low interest rate Isas at best. (Ironically where that money is 'borrowed' and used to make more money those in control of it) | ![]() 1carus
11/10/2019 10:13 | Upon the possibility of a deal and "IF" we were to get a deal these will be back to 2 quid share price within weeks.imo | ![]() martyn9

09/10/2019 20:10 | My pension is also covered & shares are also just a bit of fun,I have also been topping up with Lloyds, again a company that is giving me a reasonable income ,and a share I have high Hope's for in the long run, its all just a waiting game. IMO considering that Brexit has drag on so long I think the markets have held up well & when it gets sorted the markets will start to fly even if that is some time away yet.I am a firm believer that things are never as bad as they seem & always turn out better than expected. Investing in the stock market is going to be very interesting In my opinion over the next few years & those that take the gamble & have patience will be rewarded handsomely, any down turn in the housing market will only fuel demand in the future & as I have said before there are to few large players to meet that demand & I have been in this business long enough to know that that isnt going to change in the future my only concern is that if tw s share price were to fall unreasonably low they could be taken over by an overseas company as so many construction companies have over the years this I think would be very bad news as I would like to see my holding grow, but overlooking the current situation I think there is a good possibility that that could happen. | ![]() jugears |
