16/8/2019 11:23 | Jugears: " I will be stuck in a meeting in Manchester from 10.30 for a couple of hours " You are a very naughty boy, you should be paying attention to the meeting, not typing to us - even though we are more important! ;-) | dr_smith
16/8/2019 10:11 | Earlier in the year I was stuck in snow between Buxton & Ashbourne for 4 hours! | jugears
16/8/2019 09:57 | Scariest drive of my life was in Derbsyshie. Leaving Macclesfield hospital, heading past Rudyard lake to Leek for drive south. From normality and clear roads, there was 2 foot of snow in less than 1 hour. No other vehcles around, low visibility, was clocking every building I passed in case I needed shelter. It is an undulating road and I could feel the car (Focus) traction system having to work hard and having to guess where road was, assuming ditches to sides on the smoothed terrain. That part of UK often suffers with snow, but it was the speed of change that made it so memorable. Still, you should be OK in August, apart from maybe a burst dam! Dave | dr_smith

16/8/2019 09:41 | Wish you better luck than I used to experience when driving up to a factory in Bolton that I was contracted to visit weekly, I always seemed to be driving into a dark cloudy area in which it rained every day! 16/8/2019 08:44 | "The London Stock Exchange has delayed its opening on Friday morning due to a 'potential Trading Services issue', the exchange said. Due to open at 8am, trading in FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 companies could not start, with the LSE saying it will provide further updates. The last time there was a significant delay to the opening of the exchange was in June last year, with the market opening at 9am instead of 8am due to a software 'technical issue', although the LSE gave no further details at the time." | gbh2
16/8/2019 08:18 | Good morning Jugears, I hold a ring fenced number lloy intended for my Grandchildren the rest of my holdings are flexible, however my portfolio is so badly hit atm I'm finding other things to do on a morning rather than sitting here trading. That said here I am & the the market looks knackered, can't help but wonder if this is linked to whatever happened last Friday with the power outages. | gbh2

15/8/2019 17:53 | I do get a very good dividend but take them in shares, I have a strict investment policy of investing in companies I like as far as working for & PSN & BVS are not on my priority list & not to keen on bdev either But do some bits for them. It also helps that I know people at Tw from site up to management. | jugears
15/8/2019 17:10 | JUGEARS I am also building a stake in here so have been buying on dips....you must receive a good dividend from these with that amount of shares....mines are spilt in the sector with BDEV,BVS,and PSN. | spcecks
