Good day to be buying gbh2, and taking advantage of someone else de-leveraging

Meanwhile I continue to take advantage of the share price and my holding is today back to what it was when I last sold off at 160p :))

nothing to do with manipulation - just too much leverage in the system, margining rates heading higher and necessary deleveraging into an election which conceivably Trump might win, which we are told markets will not like very much. Best look at the share price a week from now when normality resumes

thx gbh2 ... honestly I think the weak share price is a combination of it being a £5bn economically sensitive company affected by the dual concerns of Brexit and US Presidential elections. Margining rates are rising, as are bond yields, and nobody simply has any desire to take risk until we get the other side of the elections.

But for me thats the opportunity here. Not sure there would be too many potential bidders prepared to stump up £6bn plus to buy TW at this stage of the cycle, but encouraging at least to see Cala in play. Personally think more likely we see intra-sector consolidation, but just a shame all these companies care about is releasing plans for ridiculous long term dividend programmes which nobody cares about, rather than investing for growth

raffles, I'm still of the opinion the institutional traders will keep a lid on the rate of increase, my current feeling is that they're increasing the price JUST in case TW is attracting a potential TO offer - Lets face it current holders & management wouldn't want it to go too cheap & the institutions would not want to get their shorts burnt.

Also am more convinced than ever that Stamp Duty changes coming our way shortly. Whether they actually make any difference or not is another matter but on paper cutting stamp duty is outstandingly the cheapest and quickest way for the Government to stimulate the UK economy over the next couple of years - at zero or even positive cost to the Government

just two minor things gbh2 holding TW back, but am inclined to be buying when nobody else seems to want to - generally thats a profitable strategy !!

results and outlook could not have been more reassuring - get other side of this US election and this sector heading higher.

Buying more TW this morning as have no wish to pay 155p for it in a weeks time ...

Good results from PSN this morning. Already fully sold this year and 757 million forward sales for beyond 2016.

They're also building a brick factory next year to supply most of the bricks they need. They're focusing on increasing build rate to satisfy demand.

Unfortunately Donald Trump could trump all of that this morning according to the news.

The sheer volume of posters you feel the need too filter arja is perhaps a good reflection of your own monotonous boring posts, which few appreciate and which add no value added whatsoever on TW
