02/8/2016 13:53 | Bought some late yesterday and again early today. My second venture with TW. Similar entry price; hopefully will make similar gain. But UK market sentiment a bit different this time around. | ![]() m4rtinu
02/8/2016 13:44 | Must be multiple buyers as there is a substantial bot sell program running on TW. Nice to see such a strong turnaround. | ![]() cc2014
02/8/2016 13:42 | Another few branches up and I might shed a few leaves. | ![]() rick the spark
02/8/2016 13:18 | Incredible high volume intra day reversal of entire sector from 09.45. Hopefully none of u shaken out here. | farmai
02/8/2016 11:49 | Certainly a shake out this morning. TW. and PSN now both positive | ![]() cc2014
02/8/2016 10:25 | Amazed has fallen this far. Now back to where it was on the weak day immediately prior to the good results. Great opportunity IMO | farmai
01/8/2016 09:54 | I wouldn't worry too much about it. TW ridiculously cheap and fundamentals strong and only likely to get better with rate cut and ongoing government support for the sector. 50 day average at 163.07 and falling but in my view likely to converge with share price in coming days in high 150s | farmai
01/8/2016 09:38 | It seems the selling continues at this 153-157 area, although the volume has slowed down today. I suspect part of the issue is that the 50MA is still moving down (like it is on every other building and construction stock) | ![]() cc2014
29/7/2016 15:24 | Hopefully a rise at the end of play , as TW been out of flavour compared with other housebuilders today. | ![]() martyn9
29/7/2016 14:57 | methinks :-) | farmai
29/7/2016 14:54 | Rise into the close maybe. | ![]() heliweli
29/7/2016 13:59 | Lads, Taylor W have pledged to return a fair bit of cash to shareholders. Take a look at the recent statement. | hession
29/7/2016 10:59 | Yep and Theresa May's old fella's firm is building a stake in TW as well speak ... | farmai
29/7/2016 10:59 | farmai, didn't realise I had 'served' so much time...far from expert though :-/ | ![]() optomistic
29/7/2016 10:51 | I think Teresa May might try something different to give the housing sector a boost particularly for youngsters looking to get their foot on the ladder. The old fella used to say put your money into bricks and mortar and it looks like he was right ;-) | ![]() tlobs2
29/7/2016 09:28 | I notice you have been on advfn since Oct 2003 so you must be something of an expert optomistic - you must be up for your long service medal !! It did also occur to me that Brexit might just lead to a decent pullback in land prices, on the basis that I would find it staggering if the UK government could come up with an alternative administration scheme to CAP in the time required. Even if they could its unlikely that they would be as generous as the EU with funding, which might make a lot more land become available at sensible prices, in turn supporting housebuilding. | farmai
29/7/2016 09:26 | The accounts tells us that TW have 5.8 years of land supply at current rate of use...and adding. | ![]() optomistic
29/7/2016 09:20 | farmai, TW have a huge land bank which must always be of interest to a predator, especially one who may be running a bit low of land in their portfolio. btw. I am not an expert but I have noticed over the years that there are many on these boards who are ;-)) | ![]() optomistic
29/7/2016 09:13 | I am relatively new-ish to sector but it did just occur to me that maybe the conditions are ripe for some M & A in the sector. I mean if like TW, land purchases are on hold for a few months, why worry when you can buy cheap land in the companies themselves. I'm not expert but wondered if there was an expert on this thread with a view ? | farmai
29/7/2016 09:01 | farmai...yes please :-) | ![]() optomistic
29/7/2016 08:40 | One thing nobody is talking about here is whether there will be further consolidation in the house builders given the absurdly cheap valuations | farmai
29/7/2016 08:00 | The mid year dividends are a bit Special, I don't hold all the time but I make sure I'm holding for those :) | ![]() gbh2
29/7/2016 07:31 | Surely you mean the divs in years to come. TW is the gift that keeps on giving ! | farmai
29/7/2016 00:45 | I bought a few of these. Looking forward to the divi. | ![]() daybreakers
28/7/2016 14:50 | TW has a long way to go to get to its 50 day moving average - thats at 164.98 today and in my opinion it will easily get there, and then enter a proper uptrend | farmai |
