I think it is the same problem that TW has been suffering from for the last year.TW has just become a tool of the big money boys - hedge fund managers etc- who are using TW as their own little petty cash stock.

It has been quite evident to see that each time the share price tries to nose upward someone sprinkles a load of AT sells onto the SETS system.Volumes are irrelevant, news is irrelevant, sector movement is irrelevant and general market sentiment only chimes in with TW on down days.

At some point the hedgies etc will move it in one direction and all take a load of money out of the stock. It is easy for them.FSA don't look too hard at this sort of situation in case they find something and have to take on the hedgies who have the FSA under their thumb.

Looks like we were right , there was someone buying up any spare stock , are we now in a phase of bored PI,S handing over their shares to institutions ?

Spenny,

Over 40% in the nominee account (see table at the bottom), so could be PI's holdings, e.g., ISA, SIPPS, etc? Seems they are holding on behalf of several parties.

It all depends, it is unknown what there holding was prior. They could have owned nothing or they could have owned 2.99% but did not need to report it so they may have just added a few.

On that topic I always marvel at the amount of airtime and press inches devoted to this pointless 'poll' business.History tells us that it is useless for gauging genuine opinion as the last elections have proved yet this whole industry has built up around them and hes become so intertwined that we have this tosh blasted at us from all angles.

Then some bright sparks start talking about how these polls will affect the markets and we end up with this ludicrous position of all this hot air actually impacting on share prices!

You've gotta laugh!

ps
The Analyst - is that you picky micky?
