HB - "It happens when they go ex dividend"

You may well be correct, I try to stay away from Dividend paying shares because they over complicates my Tax dealings.

Well I would'nt be at all suprised to see a pull back into the 90's. Thats the way markets function. I will hold my 170k thru those mechinations. Today I sold PSN at £12.80 which are now well overpriced and due a drop. I just spent half the proceeds on BDEV at £3.42

TW. is the best share in the sector and will make pots of dosh for holders over the next 3/4 years but they are still subject to short term markets forces with profit taking being a particular issue the higher it goes. It also presents buying/trading opportunities.

gbh2. I never heard of a 'traditional drop' when a divi is paid. It happens when they go ex dividend. A nice little 731 quid coming.

All good news atm, I guess 100p is now support, just needs confirmation of what the top will be.

I know its not huge but I expect the traditional drop when the divi is paid out tomorrow.

Put your money on Housebuilders. The following is from the Rightmove website today

Key points
New national average asking price record of £249,841, as new sellers raise prices by 2.1% (+£5,135) this month
Fifth consecutive monthly rise leaves prices 9.1% (+£20,852) higher year-to-date, the strongest price start to a year since 2004
South-led price surge as London, South East and East Anglia hit all-time highs
London passes the £500,000 milestone with jump to £509,870, leaving the typical property in the capital more than twice as expensive as the national average
Cheap money and more positive mood starting to release pent-up demand as evidenced by:
•Rightmove: "We've seen record activity – 1.25 billion pages in April, up over 20% on 2012"
•Surveyors: "We're flat out carrying out mortgage valuations, not seen this for several years"
•London agent: "Last year's activity was crazy, this year's is ridiculous"

I reckon CRST is the wolf in sheeps clothing, not many folk following it but I can see that reach 500p within the year.......The builders are going to be my saviour and my early retirement fund! ;-)

gambos - I'm only in TW, I don't see how we can fail this year, the government has got to get the economy moving and other than Employment the Housing industry is probably the most visible indicator.

We must be above Broker targets atm, as anyone seen any recent ones??
