What is the opinion of how the help to buy will influence Bellway, Taylor Wimpey etc? Surely can only help shift the new builds even quicker. I was at Abbotswood Romsey the other day and it was manic.Taylor Wimpey have also had nearly all their plots reserved at Woodlands Rise, Totton off plan!! I was annoyed because I wanted one! Tgom

Looking at PSN valuation this stock looks cheap. PSN TUNOVER 1721 WHILE TW IS 2,019.PSN PROFIT 170 TW PROFIT 213. PSN PE 19.6 while TW PE is only 12.

Am I missing something here if not then this has good value than PSN.

Am I right?

Just general sentiment and uncertainty i suppose is what i meant. It seems to be a way of life nowadays with the expectancy of something like this to happen at any time !!

Boston, for what reason? Mind you neurotic markets don't need a reason. For example, now the Chinese economy growth has dropped to 7.7% the markets don't like it, when growth was 15% the markets feared overheating and didn't like it. You have to ask, what does satisfy the markets?

Dividend is 0.43p, hardly likely to cause a crash in the share price Is today's drop to do with American housing market announcement yesterday that it has suffered a surprise weakness? If so, it has no effect on TW now they have exited the US market. Probably the usual ignorance at play!

wanted to open a spreadbet on this at 85, but 75% deposit asked by IG made it a non-starter.
