Nice to see acute obervational skills on a Friday morning...

Chairman2
thanks for the comment, takes one to know one, I happen to be a retired property developer (mostly commercial) and have been through several property corrections as many of us have, this last party was so big the hangover has further to run, this is my opinion which of course we are all entitled to.
Keep your rude comments to yourself.

very sensible commenet stupid git

byt I expect TW will have a few other surprises
- as the UK's leading housebuilder it could be
best placed to get in on the coalitions attempts
to get pension funds to put money into new housing

a bit more portfolio re-adjustment could well be on
the cards - keepin the focus on the balance sheet.

Might fall back further if the housing market weakens , UK property is still at least 20% overvalued imo (price x earnings etc)
and no more "blockbuster" news

The sell was already flagged by the press, as Sir James Goldsmith said, if you can spot a bandwagon you are usually to late to get on it !
Buy when directors buy (25p) and sell when they do, easy !!

Usual modern markets.

Anything that used to be seen as good news sends the share price down.

Tiresome

The price action was sector wide, but i'm still surprised with the weakness.

I may buy back the 60K shares near 40p.

I missed all the fun or lack of it today had to visit london for some all day meetings, glad I was out to be honest..

Was hoping for a build up on price north of 45p prior to any anouncement then a 10% day to around the 50p level oh well..

Also hoping TM would fetch over $1 billion but overall they achieved a premium esp in the US where the housing market is far more fragile.

Guess will have to see how things go over the next few weeks, note the tax year ends on the 5th April so today is not necessarily related to tax IMO.

1) Could be profit taking.
2) could be that the share is worth 44p and trading at 10% less.
3) could be the DOW not sure the way to go.
4) could be tax reasons.
5) or the supermarket sweep.(people have to eat)(money going in these shares).
6) or just market sentiment.

What the hell does TW have to do to make the markets happy. Would have thought this would have been well on the day.

Those who have sold out today have sold themselves short.

Much more juice in this lemon.

Upgrades to follow.

AGM on 21st April.

Great time to be a holder.
