02/3/2011 14:02 | The Old Dog - 2 Mar'11 - 12:36 - 7329 of 7333 Good luck with that. Last time we touched 45, everyone immediately shat themselves. Woof I remember well at the end of April 2010 that it touched 46.2 intra-day - I was in profit on my October 2009 buys in the low 40s. Thought about selling but decided, nah, hold for more rather than a small profit, waited long enough and it can't hurt to wait a little longer. But as you delicately point out, everyone shat themselves. Another cracking decision, so wot to do this time - hold for true value or expect the worst? That's my issue and clearly the issue for a lot of people and funds. Doubtless Rupert and Toby will be thinking along these lines too and trading (shorting) accordingly - but when people start anticipating the actions of others, they tend to go early, so it never gets to where it was expected to. Bleeuuurrrrgh. To avoid any kind of decision, the best thing that could happen is for Warren B to buy the whole lot - yours for a quid Warren if you're watching... | ![]() imastu pidgitaswell

02/3/2011 12:37 | Thanks for that gents. I am thinking at the moment with share price around 38-39 we are not going into results too hot, I think with positive results there will be some profit taking and a slight drop in price but only max a couple of %. Generally I think the medium term trend is up which should continue after results day and hopefully be helped along by news on TM. Before news on TM broke I was looking for mid 40's but I think I may hold on further if we get to that level over the next month or so. If my prediction is anywhere near correct I am better at this than I thought!!! Regards. | aquadave99

02/3/2011 12:29 | 40p will turn into support, of that I am 100% certain. New trading range will lie in the 40p-50p slot, of that I am less certain. | ![]() sir rational

02/3/2011 12:22 | Probably because overall market news is taking precedent. Conflict in Libya and increase in Oil prices is affecting global markets. Bad timing, that's all. Aquadave99 - 2 Mar'11 - 12:11 - 7324 of 7324 Just want to get something out of my head and see what people think but several companies have released better than expected results this week and seen falls in sp? I am thinking why would TW be any different? Other than TM news of course. Any thoughts from you guys? | ![]() spennysimmo
02/3/2011 12:18 | Aquadave99, my thought is that you're absolutely right. The more we put on now (buy the rumour), the more likely a fall is on RNS (sell the news). However, if news changes the picture, that selling tends to be short-lived and the price picks up again later on. If the news is meh, 30p here we come. IMHO Woof | the old dog
