Smurfy - I beleive around 5% is normal therefore do not beleive TW. is heavily shorted IMO. No they do not have an expiry as such but if the lender of the shares wants them back then the shorts will have to close. It's all a game...

It is worth remembering that the likes of the Guardian know considerably less about what is going on than most of us.Most of that reporting is just lazy repetition of what someone else has already said.

It is like the standard phrase 'concerns about the global economy' given each day as a reason markets are down.Just plain lazy.

I note that we have lost ground on our peers yet again.

I think there are a lot of hedgies who have a lot to lose here and aren't happy to let go.

That Guardian report just goes to show no one knows where we are heading. Not even the so called experts. I am more likely to come down on the side of the Directors more so the commentators. After all they are in the best position to know.
