and it was all obvious. The market only needed to watch the daily rates (available online for free) and R number increase over the last few months to know this was coming. I even posted it and got shot down.

Well any short term decline in the house building sector will just push future prices & demand up, if I can buy cheapley into one of the very few companies that can meet that demand the share price can fall as far as it likes ,I'm only invested with petty cash here at the moment & have plenty to invest yet. I can see fortune number 3 coming imminently,

You are such a plonker.

Investors don't need to know anything about the building trade to understand the UK economy is in dire straits and house prices will tank along with millions of jobs, recession, Brexit, Covid-19 and the leasehold scandal.

In fact, you may be in one of the worst positions to judge the climate, if you are only basing your investment decisions on how busy you are (or not), that is bound to end in disaster.

I may buy some at below 100p. It really depends on how far below a 100p they fall.
I seem to have got the movement correct on many occasions, let’s hope for new buyers I’m right this time. DYOR.

Sikh, I have traded a few in the last couple of weeks but only ones that I have bought specifically to trade my 500k long term position has not & now never will be touched as happy to sit & watch them grow.
What would your advise be & do you ever think we will see 2.30 again ?

I know a company that supplies to all the house builders who had planned to reduce staff but is now taken on extra just like me.

I say 'all those', but usually it's just one with many log-ins. Hence why only on here, someone with a grudge. Maybe their snagging list still has a few outstanding issues ;o))

There is further evidence this morning of the extraordinary strength of the housing market with half-year results from Vistry Group, the housebuilder previously known as Bovis Homes.

Alongside the results Vistry has reported a “strong start” to the second half of its financial year, with 0.73 sales per active site per week, 20 per cent ahead of the same period last year.

“We have seen positive sales trends since early May, with consumer interest higher than at any time in recent years,” said Greg Fitzgerald, chief executive. The housebuilder, he added, would resume dividend payments in 2021.

Of course, it is a completely different business operating in a completely different market, with completely different customers to Tayor Wimpey and therefore has no relevance to Taylor Wimpey. 🙄

I don't think anyone who holds is offering advice, unlike the non-holders?

Incidentally, how come you and none of your fellow housing market bears populate the other builder threads? Is it just TW. that you believe to be heading down? If so, why TW.? (sikh, don't answer, you're too dull and always avoid the specifics. And you're filtered.)

Where is that ramper Juggers

Rubbish build quality, just try getting snags done !!

Average house 8 times average income

Builders wages going up at 25% , ( more to the point they can’t get enough stubbies or materials.

My advice

Stay well away.
