LOL

Is that a threat to track them all down and expose them? I'm sure they'll be quivering.

Although with your subtle intellect I find that incredibly unlikely event.

It's a great pity that you're so small minded you can't imagine more than one person having a negative view of your beloved TW.

LOL

Wat dew fink?

imasturbate,

You completely missed my point. It seems illiterate morons rule on here! It certainly explains the pathetic juvenile investment approach.

This is going much much lower.

Reasonable gap up this morning, should close before moving on.

@ ftir1, you may need to reassess your outlook.

So you think if I give you a full analysis forecast, it will be any more valid than other analysis Jackanory predictions.

193 - Right. Basis? Quantification, volumes, prices, cashflow, debt?

No? Just 'It's going down". OK, noted. Thanks.

Barratt TU:

Pretty much as expected.

They state completions are significantly down for this year.
Next year, they seem to be relying on Help to Buy to be extended - it ends in March 2021.
There's still a lot of uncertainty over the next few months.

"The unprecedented impact of COVID-19 has significantly reduced our completion volumes this year "

"Key to the health of the new homes market is mortgage availability. Whilst there is a reduced level of availability of higher loan to value mortgages, demand from first time buyers looking to use Help to Buy has been significant since the market reopened."

"To help ensure the UK's housing recovery is sustained, capacity in the industry is maintained and to ensure that customers who planned to use the current Help to Buy scheme still can, given the unprecedented backdrop, we believe it would be sensible for Government to extend the existing scheme beyond March 2021."

Except advising everyone to sell well above £2, before this crashed. lol

This is not the beginning of any recovery, TW. is going much much lower, £1 was not the bottom.

fart

Apart from being a contrarian indicator (appearing late last week just as it bottomed) what is the point of you?

Do you really think you're adding anything? Cogent argument, quantitative analysis? Insight? Or just moronic toddler-speak. Just toddle off to the argument thread and carry it on there.

IF I were desperate for cash no point in selling TW at a loss. I have shares currently on +30% profit, so some of them would be first to go.

Best to sell some and keep some - so you don't care which way it goes?
Continues to work for me.

The cynic in me suspects this announcement was known about last week, and the prices across the sector pulled down accordingly to force weak holders out. You can't beat them, you can't stop it, might as well join them...

Since we're posting confirmation bias:

hxxps://www.thetimes.co.uk/edition/news/stamp-duty-holiday-to-help-rebuild-economy-2t0rhgphg

Rishi Sunak has drawn up proposals to exempt most homebuyers from paying any stamp duty under plans to kick-start Britain’s economic recovery.

The chancellor will reveal plans this week to lift the threshold at which people start paying stamp duty from £125,000 to as much as £500,000.

The increase in the threshold, which is expected to be implemented in the autumn budget, is a temporary measure intended to stimulate the housing market.

Now clearly another interpretation is that if this is needed, all must be doom and gloom. No-one knows - so, you pays your money and take your choices...

BDEV trading update out as well.
