This thread is comedy gold.

A tinpot fund manager which can't afford a cash offer -- which TAVI sharholders would be glad to receive.

What happens when one lies down with dogs?

LOL.

So that makes his judgement on the BOD’s or opinion on whether the books should be opened wrong??
Let’s start posting articles from the past shall we?

So just 4 people then, surprise surprise who the 4 are, QP and 3 others. Fair play.

In all honesty I’m not a fan of this takeover but I’m that p155ed off with the running of this business I have to consider it.

Put your money where your mouth is. If the company is worth ‘SEVERAL TIMES’ more, as you have stated numerous times with your copy and paste rhetoric posting, why not stop messing around with the share price and writing off costs and get it back where it belongs without the need to look for more profits and rewards for yourselves.

Maybe, just maybe, everyone other than the famous 4 might just put some faith back into you.

I can’t imagine any other BOD’s running a business into a huge share price decline so much, and then have the cheek to want rewards for any form of recovery.

How do people sleep?

Assuming any formal takeover offer would need a standard 75% of shareholder approval to prevail, I think it is absolutely fair to conclude that the current potential offer by Team is effectively already dead in the water.

A new RNS was released just after 5pm today and details (Form 8-OPD) holdings of various Directors of Tavistock and others ACTING IN CONCERT whose combined shareholdings amount to 18.01%

The Board has already made it crystal clear that they see NO MERIT in the Team potential offer. It is therefore logical to assume that this combined CONCERT PARTY block of 18.01% of shares held by Directors and others acting IN CONCERT would vote against.

In my opinion, the chance that another 7% of shareholders would not equally be against the potential all-share, non-cash offer is infinitesimally small.

The approach by TEAM has been now rejected by The Board on TWO SEPARATE occasions and does not carry their recommendation and is faced with an effective blocking vote of 18.01%. History would illustrate that potential non-recommended, twice rejected offers falling into this category are destined to certain failure.

I think that Team should accept reality and do the right thing and withdraw gracefully now.

Noting that "non-binding letters of intent" have been received by a mere 6 out of 352 registered shareholders, these are important extracts from today's RNS:-

- "THE POTENTIAL OFFER SIGNIFICANTLY UNDERVALUES TAVISTOCK'S BUSINESS"

- "THE APPROACH MADE BY team IS WITHOUT MERIT"

- "THE BOARD OF TAVISTOCK DOES NOT CONSIDER THAT A PAPER-ONLY OFFER, PARTICULARLY ONE MADE USING ILLIQUID SHARES, IS IN THE INTERESTS OF THE COMPANY'S SHAREHOLDERS"

- "SHAREHOLDERS ARE THEREFORE ADVISED TO TAKE NO ACTION."

Russman has the right idea, the current management team is done, the little credibility they had left has vanished in the last 3 months.

Now open the books for due diligence.

If it’s worth several times more, why is it trading down here and has been for years?

I highlight my previous point, why do the leadership team want an incentive via a dilution-proof share class given that Tavistock has publicly said the business is undervalued.

The answer is the management team. Get rid of the both Brian Raven and Oliver Cooke, clear the liabilities and the insane cash burning projects, narrow the focus of the company and you end up with something that could be worth £40m plus.

However with the current board this is a toxic holding. Shareholders should at the very least call an GM to get these clowns out.

All IMO. Also very telling that just 6 shareholders have the voting power of 7.4%.

Should not be too difficult to get an agreement over the line given the tight concentration.

BoD should open up the books for due diligence and start an auction.

Here we go again.....

That’s my point pepperspray and I actually agree it’s worth a lot more.

So choices that I see.....

Reward the BODs for getting the share price back where it should be?? (Their words ‘it’s worth SEVERAL times more’)!

Vote on that deal if it happens however u please but I’m a no.

Push this option forward and agree to open the books?

Vote of no confidence?

Or nothing?

Have I missed any?

Sweating are we... its 6 shareholders but 7.4% of total ownership... 352 shareholders in the register over 250 of small positions.

If the offer undervalues the business why are we not trading higher?

I can smell your fear from here QP..

Google research reveals that a number of parties named on today's RNS appear jointly on other websites.

I cannot believe that this is purely coincidental.

I have wondered this myself, surely he can't be that stupid but whoever is behind the account has run out of puff when it comes to raising relevant points. Resorting to spamming a bunch of nonsense to bury relevant points is an act of desperation but somewhat entertaining to watch.

Possibly another Raven member? Isn't one of Brian's kids a magician, not even him has been able to lift the share price.... what hope do we have now that not even the in-house Harry Potter can do anything with this!

QP can’t be Cooke. Surely. He wouldn’t be so stupid I’d imagine.
He can’t wind people up like this because all it’s doing is driving shareholders away.
So it’s either someone thinking they’re helping Tavi and clearly not, or Cooke is treating everyone disgracefully. Gasp...
Maybe another family member employed and onboard ‘director of communications’;....

Only 67.5% to go!

Hardly convincing.

Wouldn't like to be short Tavistock.

Wouldn't like to be long Team.
