mitzis and aspers : Been out all day . Set a pre-market limit sale to factor in 25p and unbelievably got it! Secured 262.5 ...although I note on ADVFN my deal shows as a purchase? Thanks both of you for your encouragement without which I would probably have not bought back in on Friday.

I'm still waiting until after the 25th March, recognising that I might have missed out on the bottom.
This rally and the general market rally all still seems a bit fragile to me. However, did pop a few more ULVR in to my ISA and have only £1500 left of this years allowance.

aspers; Thanks ....re-joined the party just after 10am at 236p! Waited for what appears to be the 'daily dip' haviing decided that TATE has 'probably 'bottomed'.

Also decided to buy back in to DCG on Friday .

Both TATE and DCG are in the food producing sector , have seen their their share price fall to ridiculously low levels and currently 'have high yields'. DCG trading update due on 27th March.

mitzis and aspers: Looks like the tide has turned. This is the best weeek for Tate in 2009. Will wait a little longer to see that an upward trend has 'really' set in.

Seems to be trading in a tighter range now. Has the downward trend been arrested? Could be.

Anyone know when the company is due to give its next trading update prior to results?

wormcatcher,brando69, revoc2 and others:see my post 2069 . Some recovery last week !Have 'worked' Wood Group successfully but sold out Friday pm. OPEC standstill (announced today) unlikely to assist 'oil stocks' in short term.

Still not back in TATE.Agree FTSE ejection will not help short term. Also question mark over dividends.

As to LLoyds ...am taking up my 'rights' and sitting tight for the medium to long term. Citi Group and Bank of America ..demonstrate what could eventually materialise at Lloyds.

Hmmm, getting towards decision time. Seems to be starting to rise with the markets, so is it time to buy or wait until after the 25th March (although what are the chances that the patent decision will be extended again)?
Sorely tempted to put this in to the ISA now - but I think I'll wait until at least the end of the week.
