We all know what happens to businesses that are sold to financial operators - redundacies.

So director selling shares not a bad idea - especially if you’re not offered some great pre-“rationalisation” share options offers.

We dont really know the true reason as to why that director has sold so many shares. It might be because he is about to lose his job perhaps as president of the primary products division.

End of the day a director has recently sold the best part of £1 million worth
of his personal holding in TATE.

Well it looks like it's being priced in. If the deal goes ahead i think a buyback is much more attractive with shares at current levels

Increasing costs may be hitting the bottom line, I can see the same for Unilever.

Having held TATE many times over the years, it has frequently traded in

a very approx £6.30 - £6.00 type of range.
