All this year's gains gone - just like that.

Hate buy-backs, give me a special divi any day.

At these prices surely a buyback is more appropriate?

Looking forward to the special divi announcement

Voted overwhelmingly in favour of the deal with 99.9%.

Very obviously then there were no reservations and this deal is therefore without question the right way forward now for the company.

I added to SMIN this morning, so freeing up some cash for those buys.
Like TATE and still hold.

Daft selling at these prices when the price is back around the medium term mean and well below the 800p it was trading at only a few weeks ago.

Sold a few more, being helped by a weaker GBP atm.

Very welcome bounce, have sold some here in case around £7 proves to be a cap
on the price.

Had a few more before the close. NBPE and VTY my main gainers this week,
although VTY is a small position as had hoped to add lower down,
which did not happen.

Major miners looking increasingly ill and wonder if we are due wider equity volatility?
as sector weakness and declines in Asia ripple outward.

6.50 is by no means out of the question, particularly given some of the previous share price cycles.

I must admit I am very surprised to see Tate back down at this level. I bought at 600p and sold at 750p. The chart does not look good and could be headed for 650p.

No crystal ball here!.

If you look at a 5 year chart of TATE, ignoring the pandemic plunge,
the current move is pretty regular. Obvs there may be something in the next
trading update etc, perhaps on the costs/margins front.

Selling 50% of primary products looks to be behind at least some of this,
also keep in mind FY 2021 guidance is for slightly negative EPS over FY 2020.

Had another 600 under 6.84 at the open, might be around the low,
barring something untoward, or a wider equity market plunge.

Looking at the long term profit history , it is hard to see why this is valued so that it pays 4.4% yield, does the market really feel that the profit is so vulnerable in future to justify this price?
P/E of 12.7 suggests that this is a risky punt , but that would not be my rating.

Agree, looks very vulnerable down here.

I have to agree EI , is another reason I am invested here as is solid business even in market downturns with above average divi . I intend to stay put waiting for next news on the spin off . Patience is key
