13/8/2022 15:15 | TASTY: £8m Market Cap Could Still Be Remarkably Cheap After FY 2021 Reiterated 5-6 New Restaurants Despite ‘Prevailing Economic Uncertainties’ #TAST
"TAST must be doing well if it can afford another executive salary" | tmfmayn
08/7/2022 11:09 | pretty good incentive for the management to get it sorted then :-) Covid & associated financial assistance has enabled a complete reset of the business back to a much more sustainable start point, imo All the knowledge and experience is still embedded in the business | mattjos
08/7/2022 10:48 | But it's lost money in 5 of the previous 6 years. | trident5
08/7/2022 10:22 | Net Cash at 31.12.21 was £6.8m with Profit after Tax of £1.2m off £34.9m Revs . Trading was from 50/54 sites 23.06.22 now Zero Debt and Net Cash of £8.6m. One new site under offer and three others being negotiated. Mkt Cap remains at £7.13m based on mid closing price. As evidenced today, you can buy at damn near the mid price …. effectively buying Cash at a discount & a profitable £35m T/O business thrown in for free. The market is certainly prone to bouts of madness | mattjos
28/6/2022 20:27 | You are right Matt. | unkwn
26/6/2022 09:52 | Loan repaid “due to strong cash flow” & resultant saving of £57k per annum in interest. They should be getting at least 0.5% interest on the cash … a further £40k per annum. I know the market is out of sorts at present but, fgsake, management are advising the business is performing well & does not need access to any debt to enact its plans for growth from here. This was a recovery play and now that looks assured, it is becoming a growth play. Times may be hard but, not all folk will stop going out. People ‘treat’ themselves no matter what & this looks a particularly TASTY treat for investors too. | mattjos
26/6/2022 09:39 | Closed at £7.13m Mkt Cap.Still less than cash in the bank and an entire business thrown in for free. | mattjos
24/6/2022 13:55 | 11% - google is a search engine and is quite good at answering such questions. | trident5
24/6/2022 12:58 | Some people need head examining .. selling for less 7.2m mkt cap with 8.5m cash in bank | mattjos
24/6/2022 12:50 | Hi guys, Is there a website for this company.....I can find Wildwood with menu, etc...but now a site with financial data. Cheers. | 11_percent
24/6/2022 08:32 | Yes interesting they have more than the market cap in cash and the opportunity for new sites is excellent, my business partners in the uk have been acquiring sites in the uk at significant discounts to what it has been costing in recent years, eg a nice site in central london at 50k pa rent previously let at 150k , previously tenanted by a restaurant so very little fit out costs will pay back all costs in under a year, there are some real deals out there to expand cheaply. | catsick
23/6/2022 21:53 | Must be worth nearer 10-11p / share, imo | mattjos
23/6/2022 19:35 | Mkt Cap less than Cash | mattjos
23/6/2022 19:32 | Cracking late RNS, missed by 99% of the market!Completely debt-free and £8.6m cash on hand.Strong organic cash flow and expansion underway. It's a very confident statement of intent and financial position.Let's see if other pick up on it tomorrow | mattjos
01/6/2022 21:47 | Bought some more today, its trading like it is going out of business. | kirmich
31/3/2022 19:08 | Spring mailer out today: | mattjos
23/3/2022 18:43 | Now is best time to go for growth, whilst competition depleted & deals available on rents.UK folk released from lockdown and tourism returning to pre-pandemic levels. | mattjos
23/3/2022 13:21 | Still fragile but cheap. The expanding part, too soon for my taste, unless they can find nice locations in the current turmoil. It all comes down to management and maybe we can start believing in them, given the fact we haven’t gone out of business during very difficult times. Would buy a bit more if the spread wasn’t this huge. | kirmich
23/3/2022 09:10 | Good update. Through the pandemic with cash in hand and now planning to return to expansion. Can't ask for more than that | mattjos
11/3/2022 12:00 | maybe a trade not yet printed has moved the Offer this am | mattjos
08/3/2022 09:07 | What is wrong with that update exactly? | mattjos
06/3/2022 12:54 | TASTY: Re-Opening Closed Restaurants, Rents Cut By 27% And ‘Extremely Encouraging’ Trading Support Hope Of A Recovery Following Pandemic-Disrupted H1 2021 #TAST "The group was confident enough to use the words 'viable' and 'growth'" | tmfmayn
18/2/2022 09:29 | "Food sales fell below their pre-pandemic level for the first time, though, as more people returned to eating out and there was also anecdotal evidence suggesting higher demand for takeaways and meal-subscription kits." A trend I am sure will continue to accelerate as people return to the workplace and the whole daft Covid testing/isolation regime ends next month. | mattjos |
