07/9/2019 13:47 | Very quiet here with the shareprice still marginally below the 4p placing nearly 5 months ago ! No position | masurenguy

21/5/2019 20:48 | For some reason their accountancy treatment of gross profit is not how I would treat it as the definition of gross profit are the sales less direct costs ie food etc. From that you then deduct other direct relevant costs to arrive at operational profit and then corporate overheads and costs to arrive at net profit. | red army
21/5/2019 20:38 | Of course, TAST's margin - gross or operating - is poor generally because not enough people are eating in the restaurants | tmfmayn
21/5/2019 20:34 | Red army, TAST's gross margin includes rents, staff wages and all sorts of other costs as well as the cost of the food and drink. The gross margin is not directly comparable to that of, say, FUL, which calculates its cost of sales differently. | tmfmayn
21/5/2019 15:04 | Does anybody know why the gross profit margin is so poor for a restaurant business?? | red army
10/5/2019 08:09 | Thanks tabhair. When I tried the first time for some reason I got 2012 accounts, but I've got 2018 now. | mrphil
09/5/2019 14:14 | Thanks.. Like looking for a needle in a haystack. | totalgeek69
09/5/2019 11:21 | It is there. hxxps://dimt.co.uk/w Perhaps my broker meant that take up with his clients specifically was poor? I don't know. I did heavily oversubscribe myself. | tabhair
08/5/2019 11:34 | No it's not there either... | totalgeek69
08/5/2019 11:32 | For the AGM report goto dimt.co.uk at the very bottom of the page... Investor Relations... | totalgeek69
07/5/2019 17:11 | Always appreciate a bit of in depth research larva! ;-) | mrphil
07/5/2019 14:38 | Is it just me, or is it impossible to find the Annual Report on the website? There is the announcement that the Annual Report is available on the website but where is it, am I missing something? | mrphil
03/5/2019 08:41 | Open offer shares now showing in my account. As expected, got around 95% of the extra ones I asked for. | mrphil
01/5/2019 16:44 | PUGUGLY - yes I spotted that, so in theory we should get around 95% of anything requested over and above entitlement. I've been to our local DimT a few times and it's always been good. Went to a Wildwood for the first time last week and ended up pleasantly surprised at the excellent service, good quality of the food and the reasonable price. Bit of an issue with the background music which did suddenly increase to an uncomfortable level for a while, which the staff said happens automatically although I have to say that sounded a bit odd! If our local restaurants are anything to go by, they should continue to do well as long as they keep up offering a good overall experience. | mrphil
01/5/2019 15:49 | Minimum scale back under he open offer - imo if I am reading correctly - "This represents 104.5 per cent. of the maximum Open Offer Shares available under the Open Offer." So only 4.5% over - | pugugly
01/5/2019 14:47 | tabhair - The announcement says the open offer was oversubscribed so what do you mean by take up being very poor? "Applications under the Excess Application Facility will therefore be scaled back in accordance with the terms of the Open Offer." I requested more than my entitlement but not sure yet how many I got. | mrphil
29/4/2019 20:37 | This is what my broker told me when I called. | tabhair
26/4/2019 20:37 | How do you know that - or rather how did "someone" know that - when the Open Offer hasn't closed yet? | grahamburn
26/4/2019 16:39 | Take up for the Open Offer was very poor. I have a tiny position in this from over a year ago and was naturally only allotted a handful of shares in the Open Offer. I talked to someone about how much could I oversubscribe and was told I could get as many as I wanted. | tabhair
24/4/2019 23:04 | I've taken up mine... Not much though so not too worried... Better than a pig in a poke... | totalgeek69
24/4/2019 19:31 | Anyone taking up their basic entitlement in the Open Offer (closing date tomorrow with my broker)? If so, anyone thinking of excess entitlement application to try to reduce the effect of significant dilution from the Firm Placing? Or is everyone passing due to uncertainty for the business? | grahamburn
12/4/2019 11:07 | Painful capital raising at a very low price, but at least management are diluting themselves. Assuming the scheme passes, there will be 141 million shares outstanding. At a current share price of 5p, that gives us a market cap of £7M. Company will be in a net cash position of £1M. The big question is what sort of operating margin can this business generate going forward. Historically, it was about 10%. If this could even get back to a 2% operating profit margin, the current valuation would appear attractive. | tabhair
12/4/2019 07:10 | Ouch 4p. Newtothegame3 was buying | letmepass |
