01/2/2017 03:20 | I've spoken to MD's of many plant hire, van hire, truck hire, and all have said they are way way more busier now than they were in 2006 and 2007, I just dont know any platform companys, but then trend is there, snorkel could be worth a fortune now, without any of us having any clue. I want to see xtremes results too now. | steveglobal4
31/1/2017 16:44 | LVD with Net Assets of £222m being bid for at £444m TAN with Net Assets of 26p/share trading at 13p/share The maths seems quite simple. TAN looks to be undervalued by 2-4 times any way you look at it. | theklf
31/1/2017 16:19 | The recent bidding war for Lavendon might play a role here. I guess the value of Aherns business have risen significantly recently as well, and thus the likelihood of a bid for the rest of Snorkel must be higher as well. | multiplural
31/1/2017 00:48 | The amazing thing is, when we were 100 percent owning snorkel and it was boom time before we were worth 800 million, I would say 2016 was fairly similar to 2006 for myself in business so maybe snorkel is now worth a lot more than we realise, and I'm guessing adhern would run snorkel Better than kell use too. Maybe just maybe we could see an early Tanfield all over again, How can we find out if snorkel is back to 2006 levels Even if snorkel was only worth a quarter of what it was worth at the peak before recession than would be 200 million which 99 million to us is five times today's share price, Is it possible we could get a bid for snorkel before adhern buying Tanfields 49 percent Think about it. Snorkel talk about how fast they are expanding globally on this news story, so are snorkel producing more product that we were in 2006 hxxp://www.khl.com/m | steveglobal4
31/1/2017 00:44 | 25p and then I will spend time worring about if it's time to sell or not, 13.75p is rather silly price and I am Sure it will rise in its own good time. | steveglobal4

30/1/2017 14:33 | Steve if you want to build a wall about 2000 miles long at 40 feet high how many AWP platforms would you need ? | theklf
30/1/2017 13:51 | no one can argue now, it is actually moving up, how quick will be be to 30p plus no one knows yet | steveglobal4
30/1/2017 13:47 | For those like me unaware of the history here this is a useful post. Like the prospect of 39p buy out multiplural - 17 Oct 2014 - 11:56:41 - 1219 of 2078 TANFIELD GROUP -- 2014 - TAN The value for Tanfield of the Smith shares at the price used in this latest round is around 5,6 pence per share without calculating any value on the warrants held. I feel pretty sure the value when listed on Nyse or Nasdaq will go up, and the warrants will then also carry a decent value. On top of this is the deal on Snorkel where a minimum value of 39p within the next three years will arise. Personally I think it will be before, and I can strongly recommend seeing this interview with Don Ahern where he mentions that it could be as early as this year: | theklf
30/1/2017 10:12 | What is Zoar/QTK background here ? | theklf
27/1/2017 16:04 | The instis are happy to top up they know there is 20% minimum in it | a2584728
27/1/2017 15:36 | Can we expect a similar rns re OTK Holding A/S they tend to act in unison | jam2day
27/1/2017 08:22 | Somebody once said, describing a situation like this one, in a battle between bulls and bears the bears always win. I have since then come across many such situations and can say that in about 75% of the cases this statement has proven to be correct. To clarify, what one is looking out for is the situation of lots of buys and lots of sells and a price that doesn't move. | orange1
27/1/2017 04:02 | Orange1 lol, I guess the bias was sells as the share price was down almost 10% at one stage, large volumes, someone knows something? RNS must be imminent. | gbenson1
26/1/2017 17:07 | Not an expert on this, pretty new to the story but I would assume any new buyer is 'in the know' whilst any seller is either bored or a forced seller. Can only see good things coming from this going forward. I did mention it to a City friend of mine recently so if they join the shareholder register I'm taking the credit. | theklf
26/1/2017 17:03 | >gbenson Not so difficult: there is someone buying and there is someone happy to supply the shares. | orange1
26/1/2017 16:59 | the volume is very strange, | steveglobal4
26/1/2017 15:53 | JLG profit rises: | multiplural
26/1/2017 15:49 | Nice volume going through, difficult to tell whether there buys or sell trades? | gbenson1
26/1/2017 15:24 | JLG revenues down, hopefully due to everbody now buying Snorkel! | dave224 |
